Well the extra countermeasures would help it preflare more often and still have reserves,that’s just a fact
I mean you’ve got 120 flares, if not more.

Core difference though is that virtually all BOL carriers have 32-80 internal CMs with BOL ontop.
F-15 could have 240 internal + BOL, that is a lot of CMs and whilst yes, if they fixed BOL and limited the F15 to just 2x BOL. Something like the Gripen C would still have more CMs, but it does also have multiple notable weaknesses.
Honestly, I cant say either way whether or not the F-15s should get BOL or not. F-18C perhaps should get at least 2. But they are rather possesive about loadout options. Was a fight and a half to get BOL on the GR4

not, it should get all 4 just like hornet
and later strike/all advanced eagles have 360 internal, and with the US advanced eagles they should be able to carry BOL on the outer pylons for a total of 8 BOL

does tornado really need 1576 countermeasures (the vast majority of which are large caliber)
- Most of those are chaff-only not mixed
- Its a Tornado IDS, what is already considered a reasonably weak 11.3 aircraft. At 12.3. Its carried by its CM count, it has nearly nothing else going for it
- its a strike aircraft not a top tier fighter.

Last time I checked, the F-15E wasnt limited to 2x Aim-9Ms and spent most matches base bombing

i mean even then the later F-15’s with these numbers of countermeasures (current ones can only do a measly 880 with BOL) are facing a whole different level of threat

Wrong, all the 15C does is that pulls harder and rates better up until around 550 kph, after that it stays on the losing side.

Both are boats, and the su33 is probably the 2nd worst flanker variant in terms of dogfight performance with the firsy being the su34.
