The M1 KVT is the vehicle I have 280 games in, yes I understand it doesn’t have stock grind, but the reason my M1 K/D is low is because I always took it as a second spawn which meant it took a lot longer to grind out M735, and it also fought better skilled and better positioned players later into the game.
My M1 KVT K/D is 2.5, fyi.

The M1A1 AIM/HC is irrelevant to the topic at hand, and 120mm Abrams perform quite differently from the 105mm Abrams.

Ok, say the abrams goes to 9.7 or 9.3. And it gets downteired. NOW WHAT? That shit is beating up on Leopard A1A1’s, T-55M’s, T-62’S and other MBT’s. If anything the XM-1 and XM8003 need to be RAISED in teir, cuz whenever i play 8.0 some XM8003 get downteired and shreds the lobby and gets like 20 kills or some shit. NO
What other squadron vehicle at it BR have better ? With it mobility and thermal, reload rate , count the premium in. Two squadron vehicle played and bud think he know everything about the game. The Abrams is fine where it is, I’ve been grinding with the M1 KVT and first M1 Abrams for about a week now and its easy to get a positive K/D.
With all due respect, you just need more practice.
Faster≠silent,you can be spotted without being spotted just by sound,and it happened a lot of times that the enemies were waiting for me around the corner because you could hear the Abrams (or the T-80,for the same matter) further than any Diesel Engine in the game
+40/50mm in penetration value,more post pen (105mm<120mm),100 m/s faster (meaning less arc,better for long range engagements) and you call all of this “slightly better post pen” . Please,your bias is evident

What your point here ? Stop coping with your “it is not realistic” , no one care , it is a game. When balancing something you need to be looking at EVERYONE and balance around it. Not because some chump said it should be cause they feel like it should be buffed
Everyone here keeps coping by saying "it is fast,use its speed at your advantage " and then you come up with this, scratching my head right now because i never knew that the bias could be so strong that reasoning straight up is turned off.
You use your speed to flank,thus you need to use flanking routes. Any player with a good pair of braincells knows where the route is on a certain map and can (and will) wait for the enemy. How can you be so sure to “play more carefully”? It is quite literally counterintuitive: if you’re more careful,you’re not using your speed and thus your main point,but if you’re using it the chances of being heard and still get noticed are high.
