AMBT is at 10.0 only because it’s not played as much.
120S also has much better turret armor, slightly better shell and much better reload time.
The abrams main issue is that players think that armour matters that high up in BR, everyone has LRF so can hit the weak spots from any range. Abrams has a quite easy weakspot as its just “shoot the middle to win”, its not quite as bad as challenger in that sense but does make it struggle

I would rather have a fast vehicle than a sluggish one like the 120S and im sure people will agree that 120S is shit aside from the gun handling and only the turret face armor
i honestly dont care if its 10.7 because i can flank can hull down can run away can get to position fast
Now? i cannot hull down quickly, i cant run away, i cant defense myself agains light vehicle that has apfsds like the bmp or whatever, i cant get to point fast because a lone t80u already got my ass because they are faster
Armor DEFINITELY matters that high up in BR. The 2a7’s aren’t so dominant because of their round and reload rate.

Some of that green area on the hull roof will result in ricochets.
that doesn’t seem right to me, none of the upper plate can be penned unless you’re angled down. So I’m not sure why a round with 560mm of pen is slightly green across the top.
I’ll have to check on my computer when I play next. The only place you can shoot a 2a7v or Strv 122b is the LFP or the, mantlet or if you’re decent and can squeeze it into the turret ring.
Or at least those are the shots I attempt. I have never penned any of that light green area unless the tank is angled down from me like it’s going down a hill.
Just seems incorrect, but maybe I’m so set in my ways at shooting at these things I didn’t even know another way was possible. I will never even aim at that area of the tank because it never pens.

You could also call it UFP I guess if that unpenetrable section is a beak.
Area around the drivers port is pennable, but all that on the right side will ricochet.
This area should work though.
upper plate hits tend to skim into the breech for me if I messed up a shot. it usually goes clean through tho

I aim there on the rest, just not the 2a7’s/strvs. But for me it’s the smallest point anyways. I’m always LFP if I see the tank, or mantlet to take out barrel/breech then push them and finish off.
Yes you can do that close to the driver’s port. Other parts are just a no go.

120s was intended to have the same power pack and transmission combo as the Abrams if it had gone into production the prototype that was made still used a m60 power pack
Actually small correction the transmission of the 120S and abrums are different
The 120S utilized the x-1100-5 while the abrums have the x-1100-3B and they are completely different
One made for gas and one made for diesel
But yes everyone would assume so even alot of online and available information about it said so
