I propose lowering the combat rating of the Abrams

I think M1 should remain at 10.7, except it should have M833 instead of M774 as top round (M774 should replace M735 as first apfsds).

Contrary to what many people claim, I doubt the extra 21mm of pen would make it “OP”; as much of an improvement it would be to M774, it would still be the worse round at that BR, just not by such a large margin- but the rate of fire still makes up for it, hence why it would not need M900, which would be way too much at this BR.

Besides, M1 needs the bug fixes common to all Abrams family MBTs: turret ring (would be around 300mm LOS), fuel tank bulkhead thickness (19 > 25) and geometries (missing top, side and front plates), possibly integral spall liners (still studying about it, many tankers and bug reports claim it to have these), etc.

How about no. The M1’s armor is it’s speed. It is incredibly fast. You can just zoom around and smack people’s weak spots. Even when I first played the M1, I considered it pretty good. It doesn’t need to go down.

“Slightly” better as in nearly 50% more shrapnel, with significantly better armor, and near identical mobility.

Bc Obj 292 can pen literally any spot prontally on the Abams but not the Leopard 2.

T-80BVMs armour is terrible, should be 7.7

im gonna need to see some proof on that 50 percent more shrapnel.

So when it goes to the M1 these are minor differences?

The 2A4s frontal armour isn’t really going to save it from a lot of rounds, a pen is a pen after all. I’d also say that the M1 can be quite trolley when it is penned, I’ve seen many drive away after taking a hit.

The tank doesn’t need a buff, and while I do agree that giving it the M833 isn’t the end of the world, it honestly doesn’t need it. Just like how the 2A4 doesn’t need a slight reload buff(say .02) the M1 is extremely balanced.

If the M774 gets nerfed, then yes, give it a new round but until then…it’s fine.

For real man? It’s a perfect side grade to the 2A4. It needs a turret ring fix and it’s all gravy

XD your Abam’s KD the worst out of all your MBTs. Even your challenger is better.

Surely his K/D would be better than his other MBTs, especially ones like the Challenger if the Abrams was actually good.

Are your stats better than his? Are mine?(im a bad player, I’ll save you some time there)

Why is the Ariete at the same BR? It’s an objectively worst vehicle.

You are simply trying to get the M1 buffed when it doesn’t need it because you are a pure US main.

The M1 KVT is the vehicle I have 280 games in, yes I understand it doesn’t have stock grind, but the reason my M1 K/D is low is because I always took it as a second spawn which meant it took a lot longer to grind out M735, and it also fought better skilled and better positioned players later into the game.

My M1 KVT K/D is 2.5, fyi.

  1. my 11.3 T 80 U has a higher rank (and many more games played than Abams)
  2. Abams isn’t really an 11.7 vehicle. It bears 11.0 capabilities, but you think it’s 11.7 bc Gajin says so.

Good thermals (on your squadron one anyway), amazing round, amazing mobility, decent armour, what more could you want from an MBT besides OP status, you are simply inexperienced and are displaying conformation bias

you have only furthered my point that your only experience at top tier are through squadron vehicles, AKA none
