its kinda hard for me to play especially when i face constant uptiers, there are just things with radars and missiles so much better that you just instantly get sent back to the hangar. so instead of dogfighting, i’ll be in flames, spiraling out of the sky because of a premium mig-23ml rat who shot me down from 50 km with an r-24r.
if you got shot down by an r24r at 50km you mustve been basically AFK and taken zero defensive action

Idk what your talking about, thing is a menace at its BR.
Even better, F-15C with 3 tanks and CFTs.
For real, I think at 50km, even just wiggling back and forth slowly you could beat the R-24R.

9C are not a gimmick, they are legitimately goated.
They are very fun to use. They just cant deal with any amount of chaff.
Luckly, you can face stuff that does not get chaff.

Its BR was raised to the point where it’s an underdog almost all the time. Almost no one plays it anymore. This plane is effectively dead right now. It went from being good—some even said OP—to trash.
Good luck fighting superior MiGs with all-aspect IR missiles while your team mostly rushes bases and dies in the first three minutes. :(
It’s incredibly frustrating even to spade this plane. Maybe someday Gaijin will come to its senses and lower its BR.
Its BR should not be lowered. It’s strictly better than every 10.3. It also doesn’t struggle in the ways you mention.

Incorrect: not universal issue, but affects some countries more, as you well know. And almost no one plays it anymore. I have spaded hundreds of planes and tens of jets, and i haven’t met such an frustrating plane like F8E. If not plane, then perhaps game dynamics is changed.

For me, the main thing i dont like is that 2 guns are set to small cal. and 2 are set to large cal.
Means i have to change my controls when i play it.
