it cant lock stuff, always faces things with better radar missiles, rips wings constantly, turns like a bus
dont use the radar missiles, use AIM-9D and sling them from medium altitude
its also the best stallfighter at its BR, if youre in a 1v1 use those landing flaps and you will outstall every enemy
It is fantastic imo.
Handles beautiful, fast as hell.
Reduce radar scope scale as you get closer to the fight to get a more reliable lock.
Also - how the fuck are you ripping your wings??? lol Ever heard of throttle control?

Just use 4x 9D loadout, 9Ds are quite good. 9C is a gimmick.

Incredibly wrong (it turns very well) which means you’re not a good pilot and are blaming the plane for your own bad flying.

Why do you think the F8E’s identity is tied to having 9Cs?
when you first unlock new vehicles they always suffer. Get some time in it and get things unlocked and you will be an ace in no time.

besides the fact F8E would be good anyway even if F8U didn’t exist, F8E has a stronger airframe allowing for far less rips
And better engine
same acceleration but less maneuverable than f8u
I wouldnt say it feels that way.
Then again i could be holding back more on the f8u due to its weak wings.
if you want a but fly the F15A with 3 drop tanks and max internal fuel lol (yes it feels like a brick like that)
For me it is, but thats because im a missile first guy. I can see why you would prefer bringing it with 9ds over the u2
