It aint that good of a plane when someone is aware of you being around come close in a dogfight and you will suffer once you lose speed
you cry about good missiles but the a-10 has all aspect aim-9L
enemy also has aim-9g which is a missile that spaded 80% of US tech tree for me :)
italy has premium AMX which you can encounter. Also aim-9L on other aircraft.
France has magic’s which are very good missiles
Sweden very good missiles as well rb-74 30g all aspect.

I don’t have to play something to have a very well educated opinion on it.
It’s an overall package. It has fantastic missiles AND a fantastic FM for the BR.
Ok for example… same BR is the Mirage 3E which has… less flares… worse flight model… worse missiles (magics but only 2x) so where is the balance?
Unless you try rate fighting it is still an excellent dogfighter.
Do some people really believe that rate fighting is the only form of dogfighting?

nope but in this game where you have a furrball 90% of the time a rate fight is the only thing you can do to either score a last second kill or not lol… this aint DCS
Scissors? you will die.
Energy fight (maybe climbing?) in a furrball? SARH missiles will find you easily without ground clutter
only reliable option is a boom and zoom tactic which works but only for a while once your team loses the furrball you are screwed.
Whether you join the furball or not is entirely up to you.
You can still earn a consistent kill without being part of the furball.
Force 1vs1 situation as you possible. Jet RB is not as messed up as AAB, so there is plenty of room for that.(It is mostly what I do when I play MiG-21s)
Also, most SARHs are easy to dodge with single/few chaffs unless you face against Viggen or MiG-23ML/MLD or whatever.
no? I get other types of dogfights constantly, in fact ratefighting is the rarest type I get… you are off base
so what types of fighting do you get? hmm?

Prop brackets, but yes.
There’s an entire thread demanding a premium spitfire for U.S as it lacks a “dedicated dogfighter”, nevermind the corsairs, hellcats and the Bf109F4. One-circle and energy fighting doesn’t qualify as dogfights I guess.

its funny cause in sim the f6f is a hell of a dogfighter imo, like even better than rb by quite a bit
Americans demanding something? Colour me shocked. Don’t you recall the literal hour after the F-18 was announced, they were crying because the Su-30 was being put in, and they demanded F-22s and F-35s?

It’s totally like there is not a thread basically titled: “Russian bias: Su-30 went into service in 2013, meanwhile the F-18 is out of date” or something along those lines. Next time I get a notification from there, I’ll tag you in.
Tbf Luftwaffle (intentional) mains aren’t much better either.
I admire the WW2 italian mains. I’ve never heard them go on rants in chat or forums or reddit. Their planes are also cool (assymetric wing!)

Eh, the Germans only cry about ground. At least they understand their place as being an underwhelming air country. Americans are demanding to have the invincibility of the Doom Turtle, with the speed of the Bosvark, with a round that will literally wipe out the entire crew with a ricochet. Exaggeration obviously, but that’s how they are. “We are undefeated in war (just ignore every war since 1945, they don’t count) why is our equipment so bad?” and then they blame Russian bias or whatever.
