test flew it, imo this is just an issue of BR compression. If you slot it att 11.0 it would start to see 12.0 and would indeed suffer, but you cant lower it either because it would stomp the competition…
Gaijin just needs to decompress BR’s faster and it would be a bit more balanced maybe? Idk
in the exact same way every 11.0 suffers? 11.0s that are often worse aircraft than the J-7D to begin with? pls. it’s not a real reason to keep it 10.7.

PL-5s, whatever. It’s a missile, it’s going to be good. I can complain about being smacked by AIM 9s, that doesn’t change that it’s a missile.
And? So the only way to rectify it is by throwing it into a BR it will suffer at? Makes perfect sense. There are plenty of other planes that should be put at 11.0, like both A-10As. AIM 9Ls facing 9.3-7 is completely unfair, more unfair that a buffed up MiG 21MF that can only eliminate players with PL5s from behind.

This is an attempt to dumb all missiles down to “just missiles”…? I don’t see the purpose.
It wouldn’t suffer more than any other 11.0. It would just fit in where it belongs currently.

I seriously don’t understand why you honestly believe a generic fighter needs to be at a higher BR, and there is no convincing you of anything. You are so obsessed with this jet that it is honestly stupifying. It is a generic MiG 21 with a better engine. That’s it. It has no other benefits beyond being a slightly faster and more manoeuvrable MiG 21. No decent bombs to bomb bases if you want, just a half decent fighter with half decent missiles that you are under the impression that it is the strongest thing at 10.7 and NEEDS to be thrown higher.
I still don’t see where you are finding these jets, because I was playing my MiG 21 Bis, and I have yet to have found a single J-7D. I found a J-7E a couple of games, but no D.
I am not going to continue arguing. You can believe this jet is the best thing since sliced bread, I will continue to treat it as a half decent premium that I will not buy since I have the A-5C which is a better jet to grind China with anyways.

This has some technicality to it since WP-13FI afterburning thrust is like 500 kgf less than R-25-300 that you found on MiG-21bis, but similar non-afterburning performance. it’s a bridge from MiG-21 SMT’s R-13F-300 to MiG-21bis.
There’s no such thing as sliced bread being “the best thing” ever in history unless you live in some dogshit 3rd world country with rice/noodle/cassava/corn culture. Even for a 3rd world shithole enjoyer myself it’s quite mid since the only pairing popular round here is hagelslag.
It’s a phrase. Go on Yahoo Search and look up, “best thing since sliced bread”, it was a common phrase to “hype things up” as they say

It’s a lighter MiG-21MF with a far better engine and extremely strong rear aspect missiles at a BR that is too low for everything I’ve described. If it only had R-60s it could be 10.7. The problem are the missiles are far better than what everything else at the BR has save for like, the A-10, and the platform itself is very competitive at 10.7 being a highly capable plane both in speed and dogfights.
This DOES influence BR but it shouldn’t, as you are also in agreement with going by prior comments, so you shouldn’t bring it up.

You are too young to understand the expression I guess? The meaning is that before SLICED bread (as in, PRE SLICED BREAD, SANDWICH BREAD, COMMON BREAD) you had to buy LOAFS and DO IT YOURSELF… You probably think its talking about bread itself

I’m not a fan of 10.0 range, and all I ever get is uptiers at 11.0, but hey, at least people are attempting to play a different nation than the Big Three. At least the Temu MiG 21 requires some skill to use over spamming AIM 7s and then crashing.
Went in with the J35X (I could care less if I got crew locked), and yeah, three J-7Ds. Hope they flew well, I didn’t bother looking. I hate that thing and I already suffered Sweden enough.
i’m saying pre-sliced whitebread doesn’t have the same oomph as unsliced loaf.
this is diverse. usually in my lobby at least 4 would be F-5C. only having 2 is ;luck.
