How to use the “select bomb target”

I’ve been playing the AJ37 in sim, it has CCRP, using the “select bomb target” in the “in cockpit” rotary. Does anyone know how to use this feature, if so, help is appreciated.

Select a bomb target, fly to select bomb target, hold drop bombs and once you are lined up they will drop.
