In more than one occasion I find myself flying into a pantsir coupled with irist or nasams with 9x.
What’s the play here? I can’t get close for a gun run because I have no cover, and my rockets get shot down. If it’s just one aa I can deal with, but a combo on flat maps is a death sentence if I don’t have support and they are not distracted.
I’m flying the SU30MKM. I know I can kill them if I sacrifice myself but I want to kill them and stay alive.
Your KH-38s have GPS guidance, just launch them from your airfield to the enemy spawn/spaa positions.

They can see them on their radar.
best way for me is small bomb toss.
get close, use ccip, fab250 x6 and toss while spaming flares.
other way it to low flying rockets pods, sacriface 1 kh38 for 2 rockets pods and get close and spam ( 0-5km)
I tried that a few times but it was a hit and miss unfortunately.

Planes have infinite ammo replenish, spaa at max 32 missiles. Also sometimes the missiles will fail to intercept the munition.
Battles arent infinite, thats the issue

KH38 is an exception, u can launch them from airfield and ur good to go rearm again
Kk-38ML as a GPS guided munition, fired from about 12km from the AA so that they boost for the entire flight time, ideally from behind something that’ll be jumped over by the loft, minimizing the reaction time of the AAs.
The quality on this video is fantastic.
It takes less than a minute to re-arm in an aircraft. For an SPAA it takes almost a minute to re-arm from the ammo box.
It will not take the whole match to launch 32 KH-38 considering your aircraft already can launch 6 at a time.
Spaa has 16 ready to go missiles. Thats 2⅔ kh38 salvos. And they can deploy boxes long before you spawn jet.
Depends on match. In 2 point mode maybe. But in most cases you will run out of time. Look at video above. Do you think there is enough time for 5 more salvos?
Just to deal with single aa system btw. Of one player.
The match already lasted 12 minutes until the video started recording, if you spawned CAS that late its not the game’s problem (considering you can get CAS with 3 min after the start of the match).
For IR guided, you still need LOS to launch them.
GPS guided only works for the non-IR ones.
Well the topic its about Malasyan SU-30 with the KH-38MLE, which have GNSS guidance.
That was just example, not main argument. Also sometimes players can keep playing on ground instead of insta j out to air vehicle as soon as they get enough sp.
And again, single player can have 32 missiles. Single player with backup - 64. 2 players - 128. 3 players - 192. That might take a while.
