What does it mean by EAC client not active?

What OS are you running WT on?

If you’re playing through Steam, verify the game files!

If you’re using the game launcher, try verifying the files there as well.

If that doesn’t solve the problem, go to the installation folder, remove the EAC anti-cheat, and reinstall it.

There are plenty of tutorials on how to reinstall the anti-cheat, but if you verify the files or launch the game after doing this, it will automatically download again.

Idk if it’s a MacBook thing, but I can only see the launcher in the steam WT file, and there is no option to inspect it.




Delete this past and reinstall again :)

After deleting the folder, simply verify the game files via Steam, and it will automatically download Easy Anti-Cheat again.

Hello again, when I browse the local files only the launcher is in it.

Said all 7157 files are installed correctly.

Still kicked due to EAC not active.

Right click and open with “Show Package Contents”

But I’m afraid it’s not possible to troubleshoot EAC on Mac like you can with Windows, I tried it myself.

Best to contact support with your issue. Last time when EAC broke on Mac they told me they acknowledged this issue and worked to fix it.

That’s what I got, should I move to trash and open again?

Sadly I’ve no clue what execs even do and when I open it, just shows a bunch of code. I’m no expert on this but in order to reinstall EAC you’ve got to do it from the setup wizard which doesn’t exist in the Mac version of the game. My video above shows there is only a .bundle file which is inoperable.

Alr then, how can I report this to the mods? Ty for your help, no grb for me lol.
