12.0 for a Hornet is an absolutely insane ask, let’s remind ourselves of some of the vehicles at this BR;
Tornado F.3, F-4s, Phantom FGR1/2, Yak 141, Mirage F1c, F-104S ASA, JA37D.
Do any of these aircraft perform remotely close in the FM department to the Hornet, and carry the same armament? Of course not, now, as for 14.0 for the C late variant, that’s fine, and if it’s slow speeds hamper it in the BVR heavy 16v16 chaos, do not move it down, instead decompress the top end up.

About Mach 1.05 or roughly 1300km/h. But the real problem it has is that it starts getting absolutely terrible acceleration once it’s speed gets above ~1000 km/h.

The F/A-18 is a very overpowered flight model at its designated BR on the dev server, in my opinion (i’m not that smart. so feel free to correct me), and the fact that (I believe, if I haven’t misread) ‘Lulzwhat’ didn’t even mention the F-18 in the Swedish TT just proves that this is a biased and stupid claim, made up by a nonsensical way of thinking with no basis in facts.

Missile count sure, but since it is slower they have less effective range

nothing. F15c is objectively better at a lower br. F16c is better for cas and while it doesn’t carry as many missiles, its still far more capable in a bvr fight.

It really shouldn’t be. It’s capable of launching 10 AIM120B’s, the BEST bvr missile. just because it’s not as good range as flying a stupidly fast jet such as the F15E, does not mean it needs to be a lower BR because one vehicle is under Br’d, the F15E should honestly be a 14.0 as well at least for ARB.

f15e is 14.0 for air rb. What we really need is decompression. f18 is worse than a lot of 13.7 even with 10x aim120. Whats the point of those missiles if you die with 8-10 of them still on the plane?

That is literally the gameplay of the Su27SM, you die with half of your R77’s still on the plane. Welcome to top tier when you’re not in a op U.S jet, not every single U.S plane can be handheld as much as you want it to be. if you want a lower BR’d F18, go play the premium version or the A.

So you admit its not 14.0 material while just telling anyone who has an objective stance to “cope.” Interesting take. In what way is the f18c late even comparable to a eurofighter or rafale, let alone the f15e in the same tree. Moreover, why is the finnish f18c going to be 14.0 when it doesn’t even get the hmd or ground attack options?
