Ho-Ri Prototype and Production too high

Hitting the ammorack is not common.

Jagdtiger has, quite literally, twice as much armor.

Yeah the Prototype definitely got moved up because it was OP! No other possible reason.

Not helping their case lol. I get many hits right in the heavily angled UFP too. Players simply do not know where to shoot these things.
When I face Ho-Ris they die quite easily.

If the tiger II is looking directly at you, the ammo rack sits directly behind the gun area.

I regularly one shot TIIs with 20 pndr that way.

Hell you can pop TII(P) with US 76mm this way.

Its first stage ammo rack theres a high probability that there will be ammo stored there.

That’s solid shot ammo. Firing APHE I almost never seen a frontal ammorack detonation.

You realize that after the aphe “nerf” they made it that the tip keeps traveling after penetration ? The tip behaves like a solid shot

Yes, and it’s weaker than actual solid shot. Again, when firing APHE I almost never detonate that ammo.

probably you just dont realize it, but it certanly does all the time and more reliably than solid shots due to the higher amout of fragments, not to mention that with 200g the round can trigger overpressure.

I’m not talking exclusively about shooting them with the Ho-Ri. Most tanks cannot overpressure, and 6.7 BR is not just Ho-Ris and Tiger IIs shooting each other.

Of course, against the Prototype, the Tiger II can just penetrate it anywhere on the superstructure that isn’t the mantlet, so there’s that.

Skill issue.

You do not need to believe it.
But unless you have a better reason why the vehicles are over-tired, be my guest, cause i been in this game long enough to see how actual Japan Mains play.

Once again, T-slash does not exist as a US Designation. It’s T32, not T-32; otherwise, you get this.

Then aim for the side cheeks. I’ve killed a Ho-Ri before cause the Side Cheeks are a weak spot. Even a Panther can kill you.

the HO RI at 7.3 could be 7.0 but not lower as it has very good mobility due to fantasy engine and at 7.0 nothing below 6.0 would face it

japs failed to produce plane engine with characteristics like that (except J2M which was very few), but Ho-Ri has that, what a joke.

This will overpressure anything you pen unless it is a gigantic tank. Maybe not Maus or IS-7.

You can one-shot a Maus, I’ve done it frontally. It’s just not easy. Also, the penetration, you know, is less than the “Max”.

How did you frontaly penned that ?

Yes, I’m aware. If you would please read:

I don’t get 10 kds, my Chi-Nu is a little over 3:1. Which is about the same as my Chi-Nu II and way better than in the 6.7 HEAT-FS slingers. My Ho-Ri Production is statistically not doing much better than the Chi-Nus or the Prototype.

1500hp? That was available as low as the Kinsei engines. All the late war engines, aside from the Sakaes, had that or more.

Of course, the engine in it right now is fictional as it would be a Ha-9 variant. It seems they confused the O-I’s two engine setup with a single one.

Yeah prototype is absolute shit ngl. Only advantage production has over stuff like Jagtiger - its mobility the prototype does not have. Prototype should be 6.0 or 6.3 if both ho-ris get chi-ri like autoloader.

I mean you cant even pen maus or Is7 with ho-ri so it doesnt matter. XD (while they can pen you easly)

Yeah the mobility is bit too much while it doesnt have that much use given its huge turretless tank destroyer… Id also lower the horspower and put it at 7.0. It really struggles in uptier.
