At 6.7 and 7.0 you’ve already moved into the Post-war vehicles, so it kinda kills immersion for one, but that’s not all the games about.
I will 1000% agree, Thai should NOT have been added. It is almost all Copypaste.
At least Japan has their own late modification of the F-4EJ Kai, which I think is the coolest phantom by far, and the F-2, which can’t even be compared to the F-16 it’s so different.
Thailand has unique modifications to all their vehicles. Except the Stingray technically, but Thailand was also the sole customer for it. Gaijin just… didn’t add them.
The least they could do is remove Production from tech tree given it literally never existed, and give the Prototype its proper configuration then move down
I’m sure between Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and other Japanese tanks that were actually built, SOMETHING could fill that spot.
Coelian certainly should not have been removed, it’s miles more real than either Ho-Ri ingame.
Tiger II 105 and Panther II as shown in game are physically impossible, and absolutely deserved their removal. Gaijin should de-paperify the game as much as possible. (And yes, this includes things like F-16AJ and current state of Thai OCU F-16.)
Suggesting that ho-ri prototype is on par with Object 268 is utterly ridiculous. Ho-ri prototype is already questionable at 6.7 and should probably be 6.3.
Japan definitely has many issues with BR placements in both ground and air to be fair, However the Ho Ri Production is absolutely not one of them. It definitely does not need to be lower than 7.3. Its easily one of the strongest tanks in japans tech tree at its BR. The Jagtiger is pathetic compared to it.
As for the uncapped APHE, I have genuinely never noticed enough of a difference to capped shells to even care in the slightest about it, not just on the Ho Ri but all the other Japanese uncapped APHE vehicles like the Chi-Tos either.
In my experience, most player don’t shoot there but on the inner armor plate which is I thinka round 230mm.
And I can’t see how much at which distance and I don’t know by heart the pen of the Tiger-2, hich is very bad at angles, im pretty sure if you angle or take shot from a mountain angling your plate (gotta use the -10° of depression), it wont pen.
The funniest way to kill the Ho Ri is when they depress their gun and a gap opens up in the roof allowing you to send dakkadakka inside and wipe out the crew. But otherwise, it’s an enemy I have to take particular note of.
