There’s a difference between doing that, and stating an opinion (which honestly is somewhat true) Sniping in War Thunder gets boring AF when you can’t push and are just hill peeking, and there’s 0 skill needed for anything above 8.7. The second part of their statement about tanks taking hits is somehwat true too.
You say you are against division, but then create division by assuming members are Russian which makes it seem like you think that they support stuff Gaijin does.
I’ll reply to this with - pick any popular games from USA and tell me there’s any biased way you can tell they’re from America. Chances are you can’t.
As far as this guy, again I’m not really assuming based on past routine comments and viewpoints. If his avatar showed a bird I’d assume he likes birds. If his views always side with climate change I’d assume he’s a climate change fan and prefers it. It’s what we do as humans, we see patterns and we hear views. It is what it is. Don’t get me wrong, I love this game in general, but I can’t stand some of the suspected bias going around. And this was all revolving around the comment about the moderators being able to have a vocal opinion, which could be biased and they have more “power” and are closer to the company than the average one of us.
Well, considering my post not liking the small maps has way more likes than your comment here, I’d say it’s the majority showing you not speaking loud.
And the ironic thing is that I like both, large spaces and confined areas like towns. I love Poland because it has both. But many of you just want to put people down or want your way only. How about both? How about if you only like town you just go town, and leave the hills and flanks for the ones who wanna be there?
Sometimes the quiet majority shows its agreement when you make a good point, however they’re not the ones complaining on the forum because they’re otherwise happy.
We can all be otherwise happy and complain too, that doesn’t mean we hate the game or the company.
I don’t like the smaller map changes recently, but I love the weather effects and the amount of detail in the environment and game overall, as well as the vehicles. So we can be happy and not happy at the same time. If we want a near perfect, almost complete game, feedback and criticism and ideas are needed. They may not be wanted, but it’s needed. And from what I’m seeing and hearing, a majority is not happy with the recent changes making some of the maps smaller and cutting out areas of the maps. And ultimately in this particular post, it’s my opinion and how I feel, it’s not up to me nor my ability to change anything. It’s up to Gaijin to hear all these opinions and feedback and it’s up to them to make any corrections / changes or not do anything about it.
We could argue about this all day, who is the majority, who is the minority. Clearly the only 2 ways it could be found out or solved is to send a poll to every single player game wide, not only on this forum because most players don’t even come here, or Gaijin could just read the feedback here and judge by the liked response to each post / comment and use this data. But unless you go by a poll from everyone or go by the likes on our comments, there’s no way you nor I could ever truly know where the majority is. It’s just us using our own observations.
I’m not talking about general happiness. I’m talking about this specific thing. People complain about specific things that they don’t like while not complaining about things they like. The majority of people who are happy with close quarter maps aren’t complaining about them because we have a good amount of them. It doesn’t mean that they can’t be complaining about something else, however they wouldn’t be showing themselves here because they’re happy with it.
Source for that claim?
I’m using gaijin as a source, therefore there is no point arguing. You don’t have a source.
Which is basically what the Like/Dislike/Ban system exists for, gathering data. Ditto for analyzing things like how and where people play on maps, and all that other data generated by matches.
When I want small maps, I want White Rock Fortress back. (Gaijin, please add White Rock Fortress back). Not large maps converted into small maps that get rid of all of the viable and important points on a map.
My source, is my post that I was referring to and the amount of likes it has, as well as this thread here. My source is Gaijin as well, this very forum we’re on that you speak of. 22 people liked my post complaining about small maps, 3 people liked a comment from someone disagreeing with me.
So there’s your source. Nothing for me to argue about. I tried being logical and having an open conversation with you, but apparently you can’t reciprocate. So whatever see it how you want to.
First, like others have already told you, you have to use premium to even have a choice of liking more than 4 maps, and can only dislike 1 map w/out premium. That is no way to get a full representation of the data.
All they have to do is listen to the feedback here, or send out a poll on the game screen like they do the daily login rewards that we click on, and just ask everyone what we prefer. But only if they want to of course.
As someone else said, with the amount of complaints here against smaller maps, I’d say that logically stands out as a sign and a clue and real world data that it’s an issue. And the amount of people liking these posts. You just can’t argue against that.
Where are these players??? Also just because players don’t like Red Desert with its atrocious color scheme and map layout doesn’t mean that players dislike large maps generally.
Glad someone said the problem wasn’t the map size and was the color scheme and map layout. Everyone thought it but no one really said it or made it clear to Gaijin lol.
This forum is representative of nothing, that’s literally how every single online gaming community has ever been. You trying to claim that two dozen likes on a niche forum post is… I haven’t seen something this silly in a while.
Even the WT reddit, with a far larger userbase than here, doesn’t end up being properly representative of the overall community.
Numbers, just like science, is evidence. If you can see it, it’s there. If you don’t see it, it’s not there. A post or comment with a lot of likes vs a post or comment with very few likes, is data. Same as a poll. It represents something. Read all my words in my comments instead of picking out points to critique. I plainly said we both could be guessing here, but numbers do matter and they show something.
Numbers of posts complaining about this as well as numbers of people showing their like of this complaint. It’s not rocket science.
