Helicopters are unfairly nerfed

Not really, but okay. Speed, generally speaking with the Ka-50 doesn’t change much, as long as it has enough RPM’s, it can push air if you don’t have max collective.

Except if the rotors don’t have enough authority to correct the yaw and pitch (which is especially hard when you’re missing half your tail, your vertical stabilizer, your horizontal stabilizer, and your left wing), it will crash.

So, like, ignoring the laws of physics real quick, yeah.

Max collective, your tail (currently dust in the wind, literally) imparts no counteractive force when using rotor yaw, or the normal yaw which imparts spin by releasing the clutch on the rotor of which direction you want to go. As for pitch, it doesn’t really matter, as long as you aren’t getting the red flashing “Reduce Speed!” You should be able to easily able to control it.

Ground RB is the only real game mode for heli owners.

You know most of the community complained about helicopter and helipad AA being annoying and overpowered, right? that’s why they got nerfed/ removed in the case of the AA, and aircraft don’t have molded avionics because they can jam their guns while helicopters cand do it (under normal use) (they can but you will more than likely run out of ammo first)

The wings rip off before you get to the speeds where vibrations would impact anything.
Cause the mach 1.6x speed limit is the artificial limit set by the manual, not by the airframe.

Radar/control surfaces are part of avionics.

Except that above 100 km/h, the rotors do not have the authority needed to counteract moments caused by drag.

When a Ka-50/52 loses half its tail (including the horizontal stabilizer and elevators) and its left wing, the CoG would shift enough for it to pitch into the ground no matter how much pilot input you give it.

I get that you hate helicopters, probably cause of xenophobia of the primary helicopter designers of the world, but that’s no reason to lie.

@Zyranovos Which occur at speeds above mach 1.7.

Is the tail missing? Is there a substantial amount of mass missing? Is there more severe damage than a bent vertical stabilizer? The answer to all of these questions is no.

Think a few good changes for the point’s would be these:

1.More modual’s for everyone, basically.

  1. having in battlefield repair (Specifically for flying,possibly some weapon system’s)

3.low range aa for front heli pad’s. Thinking just using dusters that fire at 1km to get rid of spawn camper’s. (and possibly shoot at incoming (Large) weapons.)

Get rid of the disabled weaponry for minimum damage. (Specifically for cannon’s and possibly a low amount of rocket’s)

An actual helicopter game mode (Not the grinding sim we have now)(With actual balance! No ah1g’s against ka50’s)

Micro drone’s doing moderate damage to helicopter blade’s. (mainly because they can spawn camp heli’s at their helipad and are stupidly resistant to any damage)

atomic scientists can’t even produce a violin of the size needed to play for your sufferings

Radar is yes, control surfaces are not avionics. They are control surfaces… They give you no form of information, they just control the movement of the aircraft

Its really a shame seeing players be so vengeful towards helicopters. Yes, they were blatantly broken and OP for a long time, but some (not all of them) are quite awful and unfairly nerfed right now. Many of them take one or two hits from a MG and lose the ability to fight, at all. I would not want this for any other type of vehicle. Players need to get over their petty feelings of vengeance to make the game better. Helis are an important part of the battlefield, both in game and irl. Lets get them to be fun and balanced for all players.

Yeah, some mechanics downright make them unplayable, especially when first spawning and rocket rushing.

I understand people are angry about the havoc they can do, but making them unplayable with such gimmick is not the solution.

Tbh the only complain i had is that Helicopters should only lose ability to fire its weapons when it got heavily damage (red/black hull) not when its hull get slight hit and turn yellow. (i know Gaijin try to model Avonics for weapon control but not all helicopters get them as of now) that why some helicopters lose ability to fire weapons when hull get damage (usually yellow hull in my case)

On some helicopters. Co-pilot can take over flying control and keep flying when pilot get knockout. In this case Helicopter should only lose flight control for only a few second before co-pilot take over. (i would also suggest that Helicopter should lose its ability to fire weapons. As RTB should be priority here obviously)

As for OP
1.Avonics does exist on jets/plane. But when they take heavy damage. They often die quickly before you noticed. There are many case where your plane radar get destroy and players lose radar capability

2.Critically damaged mechanism that prevents repair has been a things for a long time now (on both planes and helicopters. If you remove them from helicopters. Then plane would also get the same treatment.

3.On some map first helipad are very close to the battlefield (and are often too close in my opinion). Thus those AA are a very nuisance to CAS players just because they happen to flyby (For ATGM camper they mostly benefit from them)
If they add them back. They should be destroyable with no replacment like SPAA in helicopter pve mod (also make the team know when those AA are gone. So people know enemy could be camping there)

4.You mean disable countermeasures biding to MAWS by default ? welp I’m sure that could be done by suggestion.

It’s a shame that you state my takes and also demand that WT’s critics get banned from the forum in the same breathe.
