Hawk200 doesnt deserve 10.7 air RB

slow at everything, cant even make to frontline and got killed by the same 10.7 F5c or others. uptier can met those mig23ml/mld/mla. gaijin really thinks this should be in 10.7? aim9l maybe good for some other aircraft but not this one, the only use is self defend not kill. why am i using it? grind ofc. but its the most shitty plane i have tried. PLZ just make it lower a little bit. i dont wanna met F5’s at OUR FRONTLINE AIRBASE.

It cannot go down as it would then be facing almost entity planes that lack CMs (there is still a fair number it faces at 10.7) that are completely helpless against high all aspect missiles. It’s a common issue for many subsonic attackers including the A-10s and Su-25s.

this one not even fast as SU25, with full missiles only 900kmh

What I find particularly strange here is that it is at the same BR as the Indonesian Hawk 209, but the latter having wingtip launchers as well, increasing versatility and quantity of available weapons, plus having a PD radar.

Only thing the 200 has over the 209 is one additional Sea Eagle or other A/G ordonnance on the centerline together with 200x rounds for the internal canons, while the 209 “sacrifices” the centerline pylon for 130x 30mm external only - but that in no way warrants the same BR…

gaijin never plays their game :(

That’s still a lot faster then the A-10 though and like I said it’s the missile that’s the issue, not it’s speed.
I don’t disagree there is a problem, but with Gaijins refusal to decompress the BRs there is no good answer.

It’s a rather small advantage in terms of air where they are balanced around A2A armaments, they both have 4x AIM-9s, the 2 extra hard points for A2G weapons is nice, by more useful in GRB to allow you a full A2G load of 4 IR mavs and still having some A2A defense.

That is probably a lot more useful for you in sim then in ARB given the spotting system mostly negates the increased awareness, and radar slaving non-IRCCM missiles isn’t that helpful.

with current compression for ARB it sort of dose, I mean would you put the 209 should up too face PD radared Phantoms or the 200 down to face subsonics with no CMs with it’s AIM-9Ls? neither are particularly good solutions, which leaves decompression as the correct answer (as usual) but we know how Gaijin feels about that.
It would be nice though if the got around to that forward spawn for attackers they promised years ago.

Spoiler

but 10.7 still too high, maybe 10.3 would be better, i dont need it to be 10.0 or lower, and sraam has been to 10.0 with no CM

The stuff like the A-10, A-6E TRAM and Su-25s where 10.3 for ages, they where basically a ~2km radius no fly bubble.
Having both delt with AIM-9Ls/ R-60Ms in 9.3/9.7 planes and recently playing the JP Hawk 209 the current BR is, as bad as it is, far fairer, the mentioned forward spawn is the best fix short of actual decompression IMO.
Not to mention moving them down would later result in all the stuff that gets seal clubbed by it as a result moving down as well further worsening overall compression.
So yes I agree that they are frustrating in their current state, especially given that they have much more limited A2G loadouts than the Su-25s/A-10s so they cannot farm ground targets the same way, while having many of the same A2A limitations, but the Su-25s/A-10s where a nightmare when they where at 10.3, so I don’t think repeating that with a different plane is going to work any better.
But like I said, all just my opinion, I do hope Gaijin improves the situation for the higher BR attackers, we agree on that even if we disagree on the best way to do it.

They are still on 10.3 , only A10Late, is 10.7, but premium A10, and Su25 and SU25K are 10.3

Huh… you are right, I could have sworn they went up too… Screw it then, put the hawks down and lets just burn it all. Hell USA has what are now fully functional Sparrows at 9.0 what’s some all aspect IR missiles into the mix

Well tbf, A10’s are more or less sitting ducks on their speed.
And gotta love hunting em, just dont overtake em, and take 9L on ass.
And if it is that premium A10, headons can be fatal, against 4 gunpods and 30mm GAU :D

yeah, they are also limited to 2 IR missile not 4 like the Hawks.

They can be pretty brutal with their turn rate thought, if they are not AFK they can pull around into a head on pretty fast and if they wait long enough they can put you in a situation where you cannot break off or you get AIM-9Led, you need to faint taking the head on so they try to save their missiles and go for a gun kill and jink at the last second, which is risky given the sheer amount of lead they throw in your general direction.
I guess it’s down to how good the player is, and in the premiums at this point the answer is usually “not very”

yep.
And reason why Gaijin refuses to lower A10 Late to 10.3 is for that 4 x 9L, so it wont happen on hawk either. If it would go lower, you can imagine how much community would like that.
Heck when I was playing that Chinese F6C , hawks were one of biggest threats on uptier games, since it cant run em off on deck.
