Hello.
I made a bug report relating to the name of the GBT155 to the specification that all my other bug reports ive ever done have been to, however the bug reporter manager appears to have changed the goalposts from only needing the relevant page and cover of the book to the entire source.
I usually do put the full source as a PDF in my reports however not always, and they still have been accepted.
Did something change or is this a moderator issue?
the related report is here: Community Bug Reporting System
The rules for bug reports have not been updated on the website ( [Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki )

They may be asking for the whole thing to see the sources used. You own the book by the looks of it; take the five/ten minutes to give them what they want. It probably took more time to go back and forth with them and make this post.
the whole book is a couple hundred pages, the friend who owns the book has not got the time to photograph it all and make it into a PDF. Ive done that for my own manuals and it takes a long time.
This has never been a requirement for reports in the past. Appears to just be a demand to get the full source for free

Doesn’t look like you have much choice if you want the report to go through. It’s up to you in the end, though.
If you have questions about reporting or want to appeal the answer you first receive on a bug report then you can send a private message to one of the Technical Moderators. You can find all the teams and the areas they handle listed here: (Who is who and Reporting Procedure). If you don’t get an answer within a few days you can add more moderators from the list to the original message instead of sending a new message (that way you preserve the date of the message and it doesn’t look like a new request), adding one of the moderators to the message every 2-3 days or so until you get an answer.
Please do not to add the seniors until you have tried all other regular moderators, the Seniors likely won’t answer unless they are added and pinged by the regular moderators but if you’ve added all the regular moderators with no answer then you can add the seniors.
Problem is if this is the correct book, it’s 175 pages.
Barter Books : Newcombe, Geoff; Smith, Moira; et al : The Tank Factory. 167 Years of Engineering, Innovation and Manufacturing on Tyneside 1847-2014.
But Caer just needs to explain that it is nearly 200 pages and so it is not feasible for him to digitize the book and provide the tech mod with the link of the book if they want to obtain it.

he didnt.
I just sent a message to gunjob.
DISCLAMER - im am in a server with him where messages about stuff is ok, under normal circumstances go through the normal systen DO NOT MESSAGE TMs out of the blue
But he did unless the first guy was Gunjob all along?
It’s still bug reporting manager #1 that accepted it in the end. If it was Gunjob, it would end up being bug reporting manager #2 so to speak
I dont think the BRM manager numbers actually mean anything. its to keep them anon so we wont know.
It also could be the first person after someone told them that my report did meet criteria
It does. Each time a different tech mod comes in, they’re shown but you just can’t see who it is, and they retain their numbers by whoever touched the report chronologically.

probs my second guess then
now i wonder. Was that related to a Rafale nerf or a russian vehicle.
Tech mod 2 and 3 would have been suspended from the technical moderation team if it was a Russian vehicle buff /s
It was a MICA buff report.
