This is why a lot of us British players are pushing for the light tank/armoured car line. Tetrarch could easily be 1.7 - 2.0, it’s basically a British M22.
2.0 - 2.7 are just uptier hell BR’s anyway. 2.3 has to fight M4A1’s, T-34’s, Pz III M’s and Pz IV F2’s. 2-Pdr sucks against the 3 former, and the 1 latter makes all the Infantry Tanks redundant.
Yeah even the B1 heavy tanks are absolute pain to play in any uptier. As long as you meet any type of sherman you are useless. Not to mention the other light tanks and such with no armour and relatively weak guns.
idk, devs did this tank dirty. 1.7 would be MORE THAN OKAY for that tank. But its like 38T (NA) - totally overtiered.
i watched a clip on FB about british light vehicles we had the staghound AC not just AA, humber with a 2 pdr, later on we had the AEC,etc a few more would help and then the ones in the 60-70s

The whole selling point of the HH over the Tetrarch is suppose to be armour, but they put it at a BR where the armour doesn’t really matter.
maybe if it was 2.0 it would matter more. Honestly i find it far better at 6.0 to sealclub hellcat players

Decompression of 3.3 is needed. The Shermans, T-34s and Pz IVs along with similar tanks and everything above should be pushed. Obviously there are some 3.3 tanks that can stay where they are, but the Meta of the big 3 needs to go up.
Examples that can stay would be Pz III Ausf.M, M10 and such.
Even pushing all of the above mentioned 1 step up would make 2.3, much more viable.
How so and most important, why so

3.3 is a shitshow, absolute dominating at any downtier.
Then the M4A3 could also be repositioned at 3.3.
And any uptier absolutely dominates 3.3, so how is that a shitshow?

Between 2.3 and 3.3 is a steep increase in performance of tanks. Which really isnt between 3.3 and 4.3. Both in armor and firepower.
Or how do you see a 47/32 gun fighting an M4A1 eaqual to an M4A1 fighting an T-34/76 1941.
And im not talking about just pushing the Big 3 3.3 into a higher BR, but pushing EVERYTHING above also higher. Otherwise you would compress the next BR.
Explain further lol. M4A1s, t-34-40s, P40s, ect. are easilly stomped with their further modifications. They are way worse in uptier so they are 3.3s, not 4.0s.

that makes more sense, but then again brings the question on why should 3.3 meet ONLY stronger enemies. I mean 2.3s with Pz 3J1s and T-126s are also much more versatile than 1.3s like poor early Stuarts and Pz 2s.
You are blinded if you think the better variants of the tanks at 3.3 are remotely a big step as 2.3 to 3.3.
In general argueing that a “decompression of BR X is bad because look at this other BR range that is also bad” is like the most crazy argument.
The same thing, argueing a decompression is bad because other place is also bad is just bogus.
its called “uptier and downtier”, and that is what should work. Having decompression is a good thing but not to the point of how the crazy cat lady thinks, e.g. “make everithing have 1.0 br difference so nothing gets in downtier”. And 3.3 looks to me as okay spot. Same as 2.3. They dont have SO MUCH technological advantage that fighting them becomes impossible. Unlike, for exaple, cold war era where the APDS + stabless usually meets APFSDS + stab +(rarely)thermals.
