In general argueing that a “decompression of BR X is bad because look at this other BR range that is also bad” is like the most crazy argument.

its called “uptier and downtier”, and that is what should work. Having decompression is a good thing but not to the point of how the crazy cat lady thinks, e.g. “make everithing have 1.0 br difference so nothing gets in downtier”. And 3.3 looks to me as okay spot. Same as 2.3. They dont have SO MUCH technological advantage that fighting them becomes impossible. Unlike, for exaple, cold war era where the APDS + stabless usually meets APFSDS + stab +(rarely)thermals.

3.3 is a absolut hot spot in downtier, even 1 step 3.3 to 3.7, not a whole BR and everything above would be sufficient.
what can i say, i jsut play the game. I dont have any problem with Pz 3 and Pz 1SFL being used at 4.3, so meeting 3.3 they are just fine.
We are talking about a change from flat 50mm plates with low velocity 47 and 50mm guns to angled 45-52mm armor and medium to high velocity 75mm guns, HOW IS THAT NOT A HUGE CHANGE?!

with a difference of 15 to 20mm pen, twice longer reload. Lol the 47mm of CHi-Ha has like same pen as the L11. You must be trippin. Its not impossible to fight neither 3.3 shermans not 3.3 T-34s with early BR tanks.
The Tetrarch is nothing at all like the M22. It’s worse than it in nearly every regard. That’s why the M22 replaced it in the first place. It’s fine at reserve, moving it up to 1.7 would be awful.
For new player retention and balance. Uptiers from 2.0 (mainly due to vehicles like the M4A3 105 and StuH 42) to 2.7 are terrible. The improvements of vehicles from 1.0 to 2.7 is very fair.
3.0 - 6.7 is also largely fine. The difference between an M4A1 3.3 and M4A2 4.0 isn’t that much. There’s also barely any 4.3 vehicles in the game, so 3.3 rarely sees full uptiers.
if only they would go all out and complete the tiers from low upwards .Im sure there are so many ww2 and after war vehicles that can be fitted into them right up to the latest vehicles.
They did with aviation so why not armoured vehicles
