I’ll repeat myself. I see more incompetent players than ever today.

It doesn’t matter what nation in top tier you exist in. If you play more than 5 games and have an average position rated above 60 percent in team, you’re going to recognize who is playing to win and who is playing to try and snipe/spawn camp without helping their team.

gaijin has always had a special bias against Chinese tech tree for some reason, especially with this nerf to the ZTZ99A. Considering that even before that ZTZ99A was pretty much one of the weakest 11.7 masters.

Forgive me for using the forums for the first time, I can’t find how to reply to other people’s comments, I’m not going to attack players from other countries, I just hope that the tank I’ve spent a lot of time developing isn’t too bad

excellent skills can make up for some differences. but cannot deny the existence of differences.
the fact is: 99A/WZ1001/VT4 in the game is extremely outdated compared to T80BVM/strv122/leoA7.
firepower is outdated, armor is outdated, and there is no advantage in mobility.

Nearly everyone is. Its a compression issue which they have somehow making almost worse with this upcoming BR change and not better.

They should probably be 0.3-0.7 BR above most others, if not maybe more.

yes, he is also trying to find ways to improve this situation. but I disagree with some parts of it. 0.3BR gap will hardly bring any changes.they will still be in the same room.
and the level of 99A/WZ1001/VT4 should be at least lower than M1A1AIM/M1A1HC.
If the level limit is 13.7, (99A/WZ1001/VT4) should stay at 12.7.

The BR decompression won’t change your work here.

The reality is that many of your fellow players want small maps where things go fast, and everything is about reload rates.

The T80BVM and T90M get away with this because of ERA. The ERA on the ZTZ99A is questionable, particularly with recent showings in other posts, but that’s not going to save its lower front plate, same as the hull of a Abrams.

You want more parity, you’re going to need to work around larger maps.

But many new War Thunder players either do not exhibit patience, do not use headphones and ears to hear incoming (a travesty if you’re eliminating a huge source of information), and want to stay in these scrum fights.

And yes, their incompetence. They do not try to fight together, they do not stick together, and that can swing the fight in your direction or the enemy’s, entirely up to the game.

And of course the obvious idea that many players try and play in Ground RB in planes when they have no skills to do so, and thus are easy food for enemy SPAA.

unfortunately, the map is constantly shrinking. the flank and sniper point have been erased. Becoming increasingly CQB and COD.
this makes it more difficult for vehicles that rely on side wings to survive.

The problem with ZTZ99A is that it has some good designs, but many features cannot be reflected in the game ( advanced fire control and the mysterious laser countermeasurement). In this case, the loader developed from T72 and the weight limited to adapt to various terrains, which has been seriously magnified in the game. After all, the game is not reality, and these problems cannot be avoided. This has led to this vehicle having no special gameplay than other tanks except for its relatively good mobility. Such a vehicle that is favored by Chinese players deserves to have its own features and better performance in game. I have seen many players mention other problems with other tanks, but this does not conflict with the problems of 99A. I have some ideas of improvement direction: 1. Make the DTC10 shell closer to reality. We have to take into account that this ammunition was put into service around 2010. Gaijin’s rule is that there can be no classified information, but the Chinese military’s weapons development process is not as transparent as that of Western countries. It is kind of impossible to obtain reliable data, so it is reasonable to make a certain degree of speculation on the ammunition. 2. Improve the ammunition loading mechanism. Currently, with the version update, all manually loaded tanks have generally obtained faster loading speeds. In this case, the disadvantage of tanks using T72 automatic loaders is too obvious. 5s vs 7.1s. Is it possible to distinguish between the loading speed of a single type of ammunition and the loading speed of switching ammunition, and whether manual loading will be affected by movement (for example, continuous loading fatigue value and travel speed affect loading speed).

Then tell Gaijin to make larger maps. Tell your Chinese compatriots they want larger maps.

Ditto what I said. Tell Chinese players to demand larger maps by Gaijin.

not only Chinese players, I often see people complaining that the map is too small. Right here on this forum. one after another.
everyone says so. the reason for opponents is sniping spawning .
but Gaijin only listens to the latter.
these complaints started when gaijin began to shrink the map size in 2023. never received any feedback now.
moreover, at least half of the vehicles in the game rely on flank routes. not just China vehicles.
typical examples also include Type 10, Leclerc, Abrams, Merkava, Challenger 2.

For many people, they are eager to fight and dont want to waste any time, so turning back to larger maps might be impossible. Gaijin need to find a way to solve this in such situation

no, it more a balance problem.
gaijin don’t want to make a symmetric map, it’s too strange.
but if not symmetric, it’s hard to balance, there are always some sniper point, so they give up, and block these area and make new small maps

most of these people are noob, they have purchased high-end gift packages. then hastily enter the battle. hold down W . and complained about being killed by flanking snipers.

This is not a question of winning or losing. This is a team game, and you cant decide the level of your teammates. Please look at this issue from the vehicle itself.And this is not a question of map size. Large maps can only narrow the gap in firepower and mobility. According to your suggestion, it seems that Chinese players can only have a relatively fair duel on large maps. But what is the basis? 577+7.1? Or the weak defense except for the ERA package? This game is not “World of Warships”, and 99As are not DD or SS. Of course, if you think that Chinese players can only play the game by looking for opportunities to create unfair fighting conditions (such as sneak attacks on the side or rear), I don’t think we need to discuss this here.
