This is how all vehicles should be at every BR, not just MBTs. Big HE should frankly not be able to just “non-penetration” as if you shot a marshmallow at the opponent - all those fragile electronics would be shot to absolute shit from an impact directly by an artillery-caliber shell.

There was a story about a Panther encountering a Churchill AVRE, the AVRE fired one round, which fused on a power line near the Panther. After the boom, the Panther physically looked fine, but was not moving anymore. It got overpressured. Meanwhile the same shot in WT would have done basically nothing.

Imagine that, components of the vehicle are disabled if a tungsten rod goes through it ripping everything inside at mach speeds

It will disable everything about aiming and firing,unless you are in a MBT.
And gaijin want to make it disable aiming and firing on MBT after they add FCS to every tank+

FCS and Drive System is two of the worst new modules IMO
We already have gunner and commander for aiming and firing,so do driver on moving.That makes no sense and just add a longer time to repair or just wait for death.
At least gaijin should separate them to many parts,or just remove drive systeam and don’t make FCS disable everything

for real. shooting Leopard 2 hull side because you won`t pen its turret? Too bad, get a better tank, APFSDS breaks nails of the loader and you die.

Yes yes yes to this so much. Sometimes I just want to repair my gun but my tracks and engine are also out so instead of a 20-25 sexond repair I get a stupid 40 sexond one.

That’s good.
Only thing that needs changing is the repair timer and the actual ability to choose what to repair first.

Still OP as ever. That game was from last night. My point is, the critical components actually help those of you who are not slinging the broken APHE. You only hurt tanks with solid shot / APDS, etc, when you take away critical components. This topic is typically just top-tier Abrams complainers. Need to think of the full picture.

Yeah, I hate that repair time is cumulative. If I just want my breach repaired in a shorter time (to shoot back) and don’t care about tracks until danger is passed, I should have that option.

Killcam also just shows the last shot. Irl likely several of these hits did this knockout.

I think there should be an repair menu wer i can decide what gets repaired or in which order. Maby like the presented in navel so that I can make my own presets in which order the modules should be repair. And i have 2 presets and the standart repair. The only problem i see is that in lower ranks this creates a wider gap between new and “old” players.
I also would like a menu were i can decide were my crewman go. For examle: If i loose my loader - naturally my comander would replace the loader, but if i value the .50 cal that my comander can use more, i should be able to decide that the crewman stays the commander.

They’re such a profound lack of skill they can’t even deal with cheaters and make sure the game runs at least relatively ok, despite it being old and looking like garbage. The only thing they can implement is OP premiums.

And you expect them to actually have to think and come to a positive conclusion (and implement it well) for this issue? All I can say is good luck.

One new thing i have noticed is that being hit in the turret kills commander and/or loader AND the freakin transmission. If i recall correct this wasnt the case before. I am getting fed up with this game tbh, i am playing only because there isnt a similar good game out there.
