Getting easily destroyed after aquiring new tank

That’s a lot of ammo though, you hardly ever need more than 1-5 HE rounds

Depending on their pay grade bro, if they make $150k/year then spending $1k on a hobby kit doesn’t sound like a big deal to them, most people I known wasted more money on cars or strip clubs.

yeah I suppose, i was dubious about spending £15 on a few eagles. I encountered another dick head. Just started pushing me around until I was out of limits and blew up, so I chose a heavier tank and he still tried.

I think ive cracked it. I havent been doing anything different but for some reason the game has become easier. I am no longer 16th every time. The silly long distance shots dont happen very often now. Maybe I just put my tank in safer spots unconsiously, Maybe its just my crew is better or the vehicles modified. I have got upto level 5. I went back to tier 1 and am working through every tank on the tree to 100% mod.

Everytime I get a new tank, the first couple of games aren’t that good, but once I get the jist of said tank everything flows. It’s part of learning, you are just starting War Thunder, enjoy it. See it as learning how to ride a bike, once you get the hang of it you won’t forget. Enjoy the phases man

I saw a weird thing on a map, I was at a C point and there was a train gun. When I pointed my barrel at it sights went green like an enemy tank.

You… literally answered your own question… You are new, and ignorant… Play the game, and even watch the game (i suggest oddbawz) and learn to play. Most important is map layout and where tanks can go, and cant, as well as… where to shoot and where not to shoot

Also… britian is basically the worst nation choice to start out as. Terrible tanks that only have solid shot, and whats worse… 9 out of 10 games you get stuck with absolute trash players (rivaling germans)

I suggest you play USSR or USA… or heck… basically Any nation other than britian, to start out. (france low tier have the worst tanks in the game, but once you get past 3.0 ish BR, they get much better, but prolly best to stay away from france as well, when you are starting out)

Hi, sorry to resuscitate this post but i agree, i too think that the game does something fishy with the stats in newly acquired vehicles. Everytime i get a new tank i am constantly being one shoted even in frontal and my shots just keep bouncing, after researching some modules, generaly when i got to the engine tier, things change drastically in my favour, and is not related to my way of playing, for example my brand new IS-3 was constantly being one shoted from all sides, after getting the engine that thing become near indestructible.
