If it goes to Germany, anyone who cares about the KF41 will get the German one because of larger, better lineups. That kills the purpose of the Hungarian subtree, which is to give Italy attention and popularity.

People who want the kf41 want german vehicles because it is a german tank and it should be in germany. They don’t play the italian tree just because some german vehilce is in there.

Here’s a likelier scenario. Those who play IT/HUN will grind the IT/HUN vehicle. Those who play Germany will grind the German version of the vehicle. Exactly as players already do every day with M18s and Panzer IVs and Pershings and Shermans and, and, and…
The reason to grind Hungary for is that you have fun playing those vehicles. Same as every other tech tree.
You say that as if Hungary has nothing else to bring to the game. I agree that a lot more should be done with its sub tree, but it’s not a one-vehicle-dependent subtree…
People like what they like. Which is exactly why all these arguments positing uniform player behaviour are so weird to me.
Look at my case for instance. I’m a German main, I’m here for the WW2 stuff, I don’t play higher than 7.7. That would stay the same even if you put a literal spaceship in the German ground tree (lol). It’s just not for me.
For every player who would only be bothered to grind Hungary if it means getting the KF41, you’ll have another player that is going to play 8000 battles in the Turan. That’s player choice, and fine either way.
Italian players (the tree, not the country lol) are widely regarded as among the most skilled in this entire game. I don’t think the tree is bad. It’s just not user-friendly because it’s difficult to make lineups. Again, it’s a quantity problem, not a quality one. At least imho.

That’s the right situation but the wrong way around. Germany is a better tech tree than Italy so most people would rather grind Germany if they are interested in Leos, and that’s exactly what happens.
Surely giving the Puma spikes isn’t gonna take long. Or fixing it a bit.

Italy should get played because of Italian vehicles like their mbts. If their mbt sucks then there is no help

Some vehicles are fixed right away, some have been waiting for five years or more. Ironically enough the Zrinyi already present in game has a glaring issue with missing frontal armour plates.
You can’t honestly fault players for being sceptical of turnaround.
That’s how I and many other players saw it back in march of last year, but here we are…

No, what you’re saying is stupid. Just because something is made by a private German company doesn’t mean Germany is entitled to everything German. This is a game, it needs balance. How hard is it to understand giving the KF41 to Germany will kill a large part of the interest towards Italy and the new Hungarian subtree, which was the entire point of this update. You really want to sabotage the purpose of the update to buff one of the strongest countries in WT even more?

the problem is specialy that it is, they cant release puma with spikes without completly fixing the model with it, the backlash would only be bigger, everybody would say that gajin only is giving broken garbage to the german tech tree, they arent even able to fix a single vehicle.
You even see it on the KF 41 , Puma and it share the same gun, and yet they did not bother fixing the AHEAD ammunition, it is still broken, it does not autoprogram and when you programm it its explods 10m before the targets to fragment the enemy. The problem? The fragmentation dissapears exactly after 10m, as a result you cant use it against hovering helicopters or vehicels, the literal counter to AHEAD is to not move an inch… doesnt this sound stupid? And that is how it is countinuing , they arent bothering to do anything, as a good faith they could show they are working on the Puma and release the model updates bit by bit, but we never saw anything, besides overheat performance , which still is underperforming

Germany could get it one patch later (with promise by gaijin) and let italy “shine” for a patch or two, but they should get it. It’s made by the biggest german arms manufacturer and is 100% german.
I could ask aswell why Italy needs german vehicles over another country?

If the Turan tanks (Hungarian tanks) came to Italy and Germany, which ones would get played more?
The Italian ones because that’s where the Hungarian vehicles are and Hungary developed them?
Or the German owned ones?
Answer is the ones in the German tree, because it is bigger, more popular, has better lineups, larger community, etc.
So ofc people interested in the Leos will play Germany, not because they developed them, but because they are a better tree than Italy.

Almost every product nowdays is made by a private company, even those that are state-funded, but the development usually begins waaay before the company is contracted to actually do anything with it.
This is the type of arguing we’re against, you’re basically telling us to go away from a vehicle we’ve been asking for the past 3 or 4 years, but have you? That is just selfishness personified.

Instead of sitting here arguing about this in the comments we should be sharing this to external war thunder communities and raising that vote count before monday comes around.

The reason that german never used it is stupid in the first place, because then planes like the G.56 and SM.92 should be added to germany and removed from Italy. Both were tested under german occupation while Italy gave up fighting month ago

Because Italy is one of the weakest trees in the game, everything is always overtiered, it has one of the smallest playerbases, etc. as a German main I don’t think you realise how much worse some other countries are. Italy desperately needed some life.
If Italy shines for a patch or two that’s only temporarily fixing the Italian problem. You really think that’s enough? Italy was doing very bad for ages, 2 months of them “shining”, then going back to suffering is an awful idea.
