German planes were maybe superior in the very beginning, little bit longer on the eastern front.
But that changed pretty fast.
Ok, so, why is the problem to match their BRs to actual IOC?
How does the 1944 Yak3 compare to 1942 109F4?
Why the Yak3 isn’t at least BR5.0, then?
I mean, GER got this ICE trash in S&D, because it didn’t have better as we heard, but when it did have better, the others were downtiered to match. Why double standards?
Ger badly needs a multirole jet for CAS/Air Superiority. No bus this time and with more guided ordnance than just two Mavericks.
Currently its just too unfavorable. Germany’s top planes (Nado and Phantom) are busses. Hard to maneuver, both in ground forces and air battles. CAS ordnance is very limited…Tornado gets no decent F&F ordnance at all (Komorans just work vs Naval targets) and F-4F just gets two…two…two shots for 860 spawn points??? Only good thing is the Tiger UHT chopper. Without that german air would be catastrophic in GRB.
I would say that Germany is still at a high altitude and the rest of the world is in space
Do tell me what jet Germany has that could fill that role, ill wait.
The game reflects reality, and that is that Germany doesn’t have many options for additions thanks to them relying on the rest of NATO to make up for their own shortcomings.
For me personally I would like to see the following added to germany as a stopgap untill the eurofighter:
Romanian Mig21 LanceR (with HMS)
Romanian F-16 (BLK 15 MLU)
Swiss F-18
Czech Gripen
We are at that stage where you either dont get anything until other nations have their Gen 4.5 aircraft, or you accept that there is other nations imported aircraft that are already in the game that would act as stopgap until the eurofighter is ready.
Romania is a subtree of Italy
Unlikely aswell with the praga in the russian tree despite having no relation to russia. I can’t see them adding it randomly to germany.
A spanish f/a 18 would be more likely then a romanian or czech vehicle
Nah best shot is something from either Switzerland or Austria and seeing how Austria also uses Eurofighters, the swiss F-18 seems the only option.

Germany really did take an L there. I think it will have mediocre CAS/AIR until the typhoon comes… whenever that is.
But why? All others also got F-16 and Gripens and whatnot from foreign nations? Why can’t Germany gets something as well? Italy, GB, Sweden, France, China…all get good jets from other countries they never used. Just Germany gets nothing? Why?

The Czech’s were part of the Warsaw pack when the Praga was made.
Italy, GB and France all got them through their sub-trees. Sweden builds the Gripen and Taiwan uses F-16’s.

Italy’s already got Hungary & Romania, chances of a third sub-sub-tree are practically non-existent. Not to mention that Spain wouldn’t add much to Italy by itself (especially after 2A7HU has been added to the game), apart from the F-18C and a Tiger.
IMO they won’t add Spain at all, but if they do, chances are they’ll be a standalone tree.
