So you just made a dupe thread?
Its to discuss the 8.0-8.7 SPAA
Not only the PGZ09 and Gepard
this a thread about Gepard vs pgz09
the one I made is more specifically tailored to Gepard vs ItPsV
U have bo idea how armor etc works.
The statcards are bad and domt reflect anything
go to the new thread I made and discuss there
well that didn’t work.
Say again?
well, fair enough I spose, but the realistically you wouldn’t even be shooting the hull of either considering the absolutely MASSIVE foreheads these things have, or at least the ItPsV
there is enough idiots that do
The hull is the largest target available. And as others have said, it is much faster than the Gepard.
You know what, I’ll just say it now, even though it’s probably too late and the grave is dug
I’m not asking for the ItPsV to go down
I’m asking why the Gepard isn’t higher
And yeah I spose reflexes say shoot the hull even when there’s a massive paper turret like with the ItPsV
Why should Gepard be 0.3 below M247, which is the best SPAAG in the game ?
Because the Gepard is just the OG, really.
Take a look at ALL its counterparts, from the Chieftain Marksman to the ItPsv. Every single one of them either has a better radar or it has a IRST,LWS,LRF,TWS radars, controlled suspensions,AHEAD rounds,Thermal sights or it is simply faster. It has no reason to be at 8.7,in fact it’s quite good and balanced at 8.3
Because it’s just not that good lol. At 8.3 there are two direct upgrades to it - Type 87 and PGZ09. People just complain about the Gepard the most since there’s more of them.
hmm. ok. well I guess I made the classic mistake of comparing stat cards considering I don’t have either.
I spose that’s fair enough.
Considering I have nothing left to say, I will accept that I may be a fool, and seal myself in my grave, which is probably 60 feet deep by now.
It happens, especially when you’re “new” and there’s no one more seasoned to correct your claims
Stat cards give a very general idea of a vehicle, but in no way they give a full picture. The only way to find them out is the Trifecta:
- Playing it (and playing against it)
- Using the Wiki
- Watching videos of other people playing it or describing it
As long as you learned from it, its all good. Statcards ALWAYS lie.
The wiki always lies as well so be very careful
With the recent Wiki 3.0 not really, the informations there are very close to the ones you find in-game
But commonly the information presented is lacking compared to the older version of wiki, so there is a balance. For the best evaluation of vehicles, use the old wiki, combined with X-ray and armour analysis view of the vehicle in game. About the wiki: In almost all cases, the data presented is correct, and in most cases, the subjective description of the vehicle is as well.
