General Japanese & JASDF General Discussion

Any difference in weaponary is that F-4EJ Kai can carry 2 more missiles

Funny that there more planes near EJ Kai that better mostly, but worse in missile capacity, like MiG-21 Bison with R-27s, R-73s, HMD

Due to the different time plan, Gaijin might believe the 6*20 mm is the final version for J6K(it is interesting I have read some websites said it has new ammunition for 20mm guns, which has 900 m/s muzzle velocity)

Also, I’m not sure if Gaijin will consider adding A7M3-J, considering it has almost the same status as J6K, maybe we can expect that in the future(maybe 5 years later XD)

definitely n001vep

At least it’s something!

Seems J7W1 could get a huge buff for additional 30mm ammunition? The total weight of 30mm seems doesn’t match this weight if it’s just 240 rounds( unless the ammo box is heavier than the total ammo?)

No

What the hell you think so. Ammo count always was 60 rounds

The weight, boxes, and shells’ weight is equal to 195kg, which is not match if only 240 rounds

We know exact number of rounds while the weight calculations can’t say about it anything because we need to know the exact weight of every detail

only for ammo boxes and ammo, just as the image shows, is 195kg, no other things, even considering the weight of the link, still can’t match, 240round of 30mm shells only got about 80kg, plus the link around 20kg, unless the boxes’ weight is heavier than the all of shells, but that doesn’t make sense, I’m not sure the exact number is like a Long-standing rumor as Tog II.

No. You took only projectile itself without cartridge. Full weight of round is 660g which give to us ~160kg.
35kg for boxes, links and metal belt is left
So it matches easily
