We got official word-of-god confirmation that the server decided to send vehicle location data to clients based on keen vision perk for ground battles (or used to, until this patch.). We can presume the same likely applies to air as well - thus likely giving support to claims about planes activating cloaking fields at last.

I wonder if this patch extends to air modes. I hope it does.

Looks like the first improvement is on its way.
Gaijin added S-75 SAM Defence. Only in custom missions at the moment.
Those, who want to try to dodge these missiles, welcome to the mission.

I would love to see Sim EC losing kill feed. We shouldn’t have instant feedback if we got a kill or not. Every WarSim game has no kill feed or has a delayed one.

“Good” news everyone: they have updated EC. The reward for capping a zone has been significantly nerfed.

It used to be 600 points for a complete or solo cap and a minimum of 200 points if you just made it onto the zone for a couple seconds. Looks like the minimum is now 70 points and the maximum is just over 300 points, although I haven’t confirmed with a total solo cap yet, but I have been first in the zone and there for the entire cap. So yea, cap rewards just 30-60% of what they were.

Guess there were just “too many” other good scoring opportunities for pure fighters…

Something like truck convoys or strategic assets moving around towns and roads that you can strafe with CCIP guns and bombs, the current AI targets are impossible to take out without guided weaponry.

Gotta leave it to Gaijin to nerf an entire game mode because of a certain group of players.

Please mention the high teir spawn campers they do kill people on the runway

I suggest bigger maps, as big players would be able to stay on the other side due to fule.

thats is not happening the high tier jet can carry 1 h fuel and they will campe the airfield and kill u on the runway sometimes

Switch runways and/or don’t let the enemy team advance to the airfields. It’s a tough thing to do, especially when you’re flying solo or the enemy team has players with a brain on it.

This is what the airfield defense upgrade would help with. Being camped near an airfield is a strategy, updated airfield defense would just make it a little tougher to airfield camp.

Eh, bigger maps would be nice. But it’s not a necessity currently in ASB.

In it’s current state, I think what’s needed most is more EC maps, updated objectives and AI, and better airfield defense at 12.3 and above

That is true, only thing that I dont like about todayes gameplay is that most of the players fly low max 3km above the sea. And why? Just because you dont have time the clim and gain speed. F-15 can easily fly at 12km at MACH2. I feel like everyone fly low because its safe and most of all thay might not even know that thay can fly so hight and fast.

Please we need an update the can balance the game in sim battles usa is sucks in ground and air

USA does not suck in air. It’s win rate is usually higher in SB

Err no, the playerbase often sucks which is why the aircraft are so undertiered.
You have the F-80C at 7.3, which shits all over the Me-262 Jabo the germans have at that level…and you have guns that actually hit. The MK-108? Pull the trigger and pray…had those damn guns spoil three attacks on a ki-84 today.

Also why is germany stuck on Team Red all the time and even in WW2 scenarios where we should fight with the japanese are germans fighting the japanese with the russians.
EAST Germany aka the DDR/GDR was on Team Red in the Cold war, West Germany aka the BRD was on Team Blue in the Cold War. Germany can’t ever move, but the Japanese and the French can…strange that…

And why do you you sometimes fight soviet AI jets who are in a team with the americans while you are fighting with the soviets? In sim, do you know how much VID problems that causes.

Oh and for the love of God Gajin unpack the 6.7-8.0/8.3 jets into their proper eras, [sarcasm] it is such great fun to fight late 1940s to early 1950s or mid-1950s jets with 1960s weapons (Sea Vixen) with a late war jet and a few prototypes [/sarcasm]

What we also need, is for points to be awarded for partial captures or contesting/aka denying the enemy a CAP zone. It’s really annoying if you held a CAP zone neutral against the enemy or mutiple enemies until the timer runs out, because the enemy just didn’t engage and stayed in the CAP zone.
What’s even more annoying is that if you decapped the CAP zone, then got it to 90% capped and the timer runs out and the games says “OH Well, you’ve done nothing, Sucker!”

Even an unsuccessful defense of a CAP zone should give points to those that defended it, after all they did something for their Team.

Additionally, take that 600 points or 1400 points limit to contribution and put it on the trash heap…it punishes both lucky and good players, because it make the second kill worthless. Give them the rewards for the point they’ve earned.

And if you worry about Zombers, their behaviour is obvious so reduce their earnings, not those that team play.

in the last tier i don’t think so

US dominated until the Rafale and Eurofighter got added. Now that US mains have competition. Alot of them have “I can’t do well with US anymore, so therefor they suck” syndrome.

US is still good.
