Its HEAT-FS also has very poor post-pen and less actual pen then many WW2 guns. Facing MBTs it would be nigh-useless.
The Ikv 103 can quite literally be 7.7d from the front- those same MBTs have every single advantage over it, while still having the same amount of pen.
In no way should it be at the same BR as them- its not even good where it is. Its lightly armored, has poor gun handling, and still has enough armor to set off APHE while still being able to be MGd. It also has poor postpen and gets eaten by fuel tanks.
It was one of the best starter “jets” back when spawnpoints were still a thing. Lots of fun kills against F-4s that i lulled into turning with me till they were slow.
Yes I did and it’s straight up propaganda, sometimes he has to miss to prove a point lmao. He just puts these vehicles in front of each other on a flat empty space.
That’s straight up a lie.
IKV 103 is on the same level or better than RakJpz2 or Swingfire. I would probably prefer taking IKV 103 over these 2 at 8.0.
Somehow small size and sneakiness is not an advantage for you. Maybe because you hardly ever play ground RB and you have no clue that sneaky light tanks are meta here, unlike in AB, where you get a large red marker above your tank and sneakiness is much less powerful.
I own the F15JM you bozo. I know how it plays. It’s braindead. It’s also barely a sidegrade compared to the F15C. The only meaningful difference is from the AAM3. I bring the grand total of 1 with 7 AMRAAMs.
Heck, if anything it’s kept in check by the US side since it’s the only competitive plane on the opposite of a sea of F16C and F15C.
But the thing is, unlike you, I have the experience on both side of the coin. F15, Mirage 2000, Su-27, and soon I’ll get one of the Gripen C and the late Harrier as well. You are absolutely, decisively and utterly delusional if you think the AMRAAM carriers aren’t completely outmatching the opposition.
Play the soviets my dude, you’ll change your tune fast.
What this essentially amounts to is moving the multi-pathing goal posts until it is no longer an effective method of counterplay against ARH missiles. This was something that RB players pointed out in the first thread months ago.
Basically we are using the modicum of success that around 3-4 players experienced on red side fragging mostly ignorant newbies as justification to further buff the most dominant side.
I actually played against the NimbalTarget/Sim Enjoyers red team super squad with my own blue team squad…guess what happened…they lost the game and they didn’t have nearly the KD ratio. And guess what happened next? They switched to blue team in the next game.
Multi-pathing is the singular mechanic that has allowed red teams to experience any bit of success. Reducing it further is a good idea if you want to further imbalance the game. The same goes for decreasing the effectiveness of chaff; every red side player would essentially be a free kill for the first bozo that wants to spam all 8 of their AMRAAMS at a single target.
Notch and chaff will not be an alternative. The person that is forced to notch and sit in it is basically a free kill for a follow-up missile or an Aim-9M.
The gimmick is that it’s 6 minutes of fuel actually lasts a lot longer if you throttle back and it’s better than every single prop in terms of acceleration, speed, climb, and turning ability. It is a plane that would be untouchable if it actually played against it’s historical counterparts and it would trash an entire BR.
Cry me a fucking river Squish. You and I both know winrate means dick-all in ASB.
The red side could literally get Su-35s and J-10Cs this patch and it would not change a bit, just due to quantity of players. The aircraft themselves have nothing to do with the state of sim, other than US vehicles just being popular so you get lots of people that grind to top tier in RB and then decide they want to try their favorite jets IRL in sim.
Edit: and the F-15C stats are entirely from GSB culling the horde of Kamovs and Su-25s
I got the Mig15Bis on germany’s side really early in WT life, and I don’t recall it ever facing props. It only fought jets, and specifically almost only F86-F2 and late F86A.
Yeah you can make it so that the rocket has 20x the specific impulse of what it had irl making it extremely efficient meaning you can just cruise for a very long time
The vehicles and their capabilities have everything to do with the state of sim. You can take any red side player and put them onto blue side and they will immediately do better with respect to win rate and with respect to kill to death ratio.
You can also see the decline in win rate from this patch to the last one if you compare people’s Su-27 vs Su-27SM stats and see that on the whole that red side players are winning even less games than they used to.
The only person to experience consistent success in red side top tier is SimplySinful…and guess what…he is basically burnt out on attempting to carry red teams. The only thing kept red side somewhat alive this patch is just pure community effort…and guess what happens when a community decides to play blue side in the same dedicated manner…the red players leave the game and then go play something else.
If you gave red side the Su-35 and the R-77-1…things would change over night and American mains would be crying a river that they are no longer superior to the majority of what they can face in every single way. Heck…you already have American mains that are asking for Aim-120D, Aim-9X, and for planes like the F-15J to be eliminated from the game because they are slightly better than their model.
Instead what “realism” advocates keep wanting is for AMRAAM to be as close to a guaranteed kill as possible. Some of them are actually excited that chaff is bugged right now to the point that it’s ineffective. And I really hope these people get what they want so they can go back to not playing the game because nobody wants to play against them.
