This other guy has been having a great time in ground sim enjoying new helicopters… France is quite the challenge in 10_2 with only a fixed gun and 2 ATGMs fighting much better vehicles… or the A109 which has turned into quite a hidden gem in 9_2. And I finally unlocked the Israeli second Cobra… but the little bird is really fun now it’s spaded…
It’s pretty great… but some people can only play one mode :(

and when I have a 500% SL booster or a ‘kill 8 bomber’ task I will use my Areite and Sea Vixen as i see fit… their grinding days are done, UK and Italy are mostly unlocked… and…

Don’t go look at what they did to the gunsight on the MiG-17. They somehow made it worse than it already is because now it just stutters all over the place.
Tunisia is known to have too few bases spawning too infrequently. It’s also a small map, thus airbases (and their defenses) and mission targets are concentrated into small areas. Compared to the larger maps like Denmark, Sinai, Afghanistan… it only has 1/4 of the area of the larger maps!
Thus I think Tunisia is quite possibly the worst map to chose for high tier attackers, and as an outlier NOT representative for the issues.
Knowing this, simply do not join a match on this map if you want to fly a high-tier attacker! It’s one of the big advantages of Sim EC that one can control under which conditions (map and BR) one fights, so use this to your advantage, and prevent situations where this signifies a disadvantage!
For the aircraft in your lineup of your screenshot, Afghanistan is a great map, with reliably spawning, well placed mission targets, and great terrain to evade the enemy. Denmark would work well too, especially if you want to use the Intruder against ships, Sinai of course as well…
