After the update, I went to play on a newly purchased Su24 to bomb fields, but I discovered that the usual safe altitude (5000-5500) is now completely useless, as the new ItO 90M anti-aircraft guns can easily shoot down my plane without any warning. This raises the question of how to play the game effectively. If you fly at an altitude of 5500, you will be targeted by anti-aircraft guns, but if you fly higher, you will be targeted by other planes due to the trail that forms at high altitudes. I tried to destroy the bases, but the pesky anti-aircraft gun shot me down! How can I play on the stock Su24 if I’m shot down by the ItO 90M in SB without any warning, and there’s no chance of progress in RB?

Agreed with sinful, either toss bomb or go up to ridiculous altitude (12km+) to bomb. Toss bombing with ccrp is much easier though, search up a tutorial on yt on how to do it
Well, when I read the news about the appearance of high-level air defense in SB, the first thing I thought was that they won’t change the locations of the bases (which were already dangerous to destroy because of the Rolands), the convoy spawn points, AI aviation events, and so on.
So he means that now in SB above 10.7 there will be only PVP.

And good, I’m sick of the airfield zombers and rocket rushers. At least use your brain and learn to use CCRP and toss the bombs.
Lets also not forget that they raised the contrial altitude, so there’s that.

So no more Phantoms spamming rockets on airfield? Sounds interesting to me. You could literally fly into the airstrip whilst dropping rockets as crazy. Finally this madness is over

As much as I used this strategy to research and do the event, airfield strike still pretty much functional, ItO 90M is a good addition for the outdated Roland 1 anti-air system which in the long term will help base camping and as well promote a more active gameplay regarding Zomber-ing in air simulator battles specially in event days. The addition of the ItO 90M is a small spark that Gaijin still somewhat cares about people’s concern, I’m hopeful that soon enough simulator battles as a whole will improve, both in air and specially in ground.

Ye i wish we would get more ping options then just “attention to the map” maybe like a question-mark to ask if a friendly is there or a circle to designate an area.
And maybe even a option to draw on the map for everyone in ur team, even though that would get out of hand pretty quicky
One thing that we need for sim battles (both ground and air sim) is to have a different icon for the “Follow me!” command on the map so it won’t get mixed with map pings, and it helps newbies ID friendlies better.
A pointer icon appearing on the map, showing the position and the direction of plane or tank hull of the player would be really useful (AKA showing the azimuth they’re facing).
And it’s not something that’s new either. When you use “Cover me!” a shield icon appears. The “Follow me!” command needs to get a similar treatment.

No lol. It sounds a lot like he is just crying over not being able to be a zombie. I fly CAS a lot as I like it a lot more than PvP (which I also do on occasion), and its very much possible, even with stock jets.
List the strike aircraft at 11.3 that can bomb those bases without getting shot down.

I would say we would need a wayyyy bigger map, just for testing, and then just give every team an awacs. that would make things really fun and interesting. Like you try to take out the enemy awacs without getting spotted and shot down

Anything that has CCIP, usually has CCRP as well. Learn to use it and toss ur bombs.
