Because vehicle balance depends on more than one mid missile. F3H lacks the flight performance to do anything other than BVR.

what i see is that its about the general scheme of things, the team with F3Hs gets a superior energy advantage at the start, which usually dictates the fight in early jet BRs
but unfortunately people arent so smart to see that this is an issue
Won’t lie, I was grinding out the Yak-130 and to be honest all you really have to do is fly low enough, to evade the missiles. The radar on the F3H-2 sucks big time, though yeah can’t really be multipathing all the time so my advice would be to just take the map the long way to evade demons till this mistake is fixed either by nerfing the AIM-7C or just moving it up in BR, my guess it will be moved up to a BR of 9.7. Though yeah, I am potently waiting for the day that most missiles in the game will be reworked, hopefully to their realistic values. Otherwise this spam will not end lol.

if the AIM-7s are this busted with the new reworks imagine how bad the R-23, R-24 and the R-27s will be after the next missile update. Apart from all the missiles that I just listed, R-23 is the one that needs it most. If they still haven’t changed how it works, which the last time I used the MiG-23M was about when the F-14s came out) The R-23s were abysmal, they would refuse to hit their target at all, which was a fun experience to say the least. So the missile that probably deserves this missile update most is the R-23R/T. The others I don’t see a reason why they would be buffed but they are kind of underperforming against the sparrow family at the moment, so the entire air game-mode is in Gaijins hands, which if the R-27ER gets buffed its going to be an ICBM. It was already good before the FOX3 update that it would rival most FOX3s in the pool, it was genuinely insane. Now if they do buff it that might change ALOT of the gameplay, this is essentially just “Meta Balancing” if I have to say.
