F3H should be nerfed to 9.3 or 9.7 immediately

exactly stop climbing against higher twr planes with fox 1s and this isnt an issue

who knew a plane built for high altitude interception would dominate high altitude

I don’t get how you don’t get this. If your team can’t do anything but hug the deck, and their team can go anywhere they want; you are at a massive disadvantage before the battle even starts.

These sort of comments are just snarky and unhelpful. The topic here is game balance, not “does the jet tickle your larp fantasy”

if youre dying to this plane maybe you should reflect on your own mistakes that leads to it rather than telling gaijin to worsen the compression issue.

Hey, already addressed, please read next time:

HOLY, you know what worsens the compression issue? Hyperbuffing a random jet to change the entire meta around that entire 8.0-10.0 bracket. Like, how do you not see the irony?

This is literally just the same as when the f4e and mig21 were top tier and SARH was added.

F4e side would dominate alt and we would just chill up there and pick off any mig21 that tried to get us. I remember the hardest part about that time was having to fight other f4e for the kills.

Playing the f3h has felt like that.

moving it to 9.3 changes nothing, moving it to 9.7 basically renders the plane useless in anything that isnt a full downtier

It keeps it from facing 8.0 entirely, keeps it from seeing 8.3 nearly as much, reduces the amount it faces 8.7, puts it into a much harder bracket with supersonics, lets it now see 10.3 jets, thats like 5 things and I can keep going. Where do you get off on saying this stuff? More jets have chaff/RWRs too as you go up?

It changes a lot for 8.0s and 8.3s

how so? biggest threat i can think of is a plane with aim-9L but you outrange it so its going to die in a head on before it could shoot at you

besides the main point of moving it up is because 8.0-9.0 physically cant deal with the thing.

I’ve been saying that the F3H has always been busted because of the power and the guns and people ((including you)) actively ignore the claim

I posted two screenshots where I got two aces in a row and people are actively ignoring it as well

And now unlike the F-4C, the F3H2 can actually outpull missiles and dogfight, yet somehow it would be a worse F-4C if upped to 9.7 according to you. Absolutely flawless logic.

bro thinks he is the main character

The problem is that the BR system is pretty broken. The more vehicles they add to the game, the harder it becomes to fix.

“giant” if you’re below the horizon from the F3H you’re unlockable. The F3H can only really leverage a small energy advantage with Aim-7Cs, and you can only guided to one target at once, who can also just unironically dodge. Not to mention, side climbing.

It’s a fine enough tradeoff for the F3H’s poor flight performance.

No, the solution is to add more vehicles. The reason compression from 8.0 + is so bad is because they have a few dozen vehicles, and 3 ranks spread across 80 years of technological advance.

WW2 BRs are fine because they have hundreds of vehicles, and five ranks spread across 6 years of technological advance.

I played some more battles (63 battles, 204kills ) with F3H and did some counting on my medal kill clips. 90% of the kills were above 3000m, most of them above 4000m. Below that alt you barely get in a situation where you can lock or it’s too dangerous because you risk a TK. Late game kills are most of the time unaware players at takeoff.
Fits perfectly my statement to be safe below 3000m.
The vast majority of these kills are players no clue what they are doing.

Hunting heavy bombers with sparrows? Forget it! It’s only wasting missiles. 4 sparrows (7,5kg TNT equivilant each) at a Tu-4: 4 hits, no fire. Sometimes you manage a crit, but these bombers fly forever.
Super sonic planes like Mig-19, Mig-21, Lightning climbing full speed from spawn: No chance the missile hits. You can’t lead enough.

And the player base slowly but surely learns. There are more and more and more battles without any enemy fighter at high alt.

But again, this plane gets so many downtiers, it’s laughable. I didn’t count them, but I guess it’s more than double in comparison to both CA-27.

Great achivement of Gaijin. So one team starts with a great disadvantage into the battle.

Gaijin will have to put the F3H also for the reason that it is so brain dead to play and because soon bots will appear as you need 4 clicks to kill/score a hit on a bomber …

and holly molly 2641 games in the Ayit, Holy sh… your are really loving to fly overpowered stuff. Now I understand that you defending the F3H … holy molly

Great, put it on 9.3, or 9.7 so F3h player will have to actually dogfight

the last thing this game needs is even more places where players are conditioned to never climb over multipath altitudes.
