Every single time I mention AESA ability to detect stealth, I get told no, the F-22 wont be able to be detected.
Every single time I mention IRST ability to detect stealth, I get todl that hte F-22 has IR stealth too.
Every single time I mention missiels. I get told that Aim-120D and Aim-9X are superior.

Sure give all 5th gen old missiles to counter 4.5 gen. But every single 5th gen should be given the same treatment including the british F-35

This I agree with. Lockheed or even the State Department/DoW themselves wouldn’t even entertain allowing European missiles on USA jets for their own use. What message does that send to their people (or rather, investors)?

Yeah, but they were trying to argue that as theyve only been test fitted to a USMC F-35, they should be US exclusive weapon for the F-35. Which is just kinda funny. Shows how desperate they are for a better ARH missile than the AMRAAM

Excluding stealth, give me one thing the F-35 does better than any Gen 4.5 that will actually matter in WT?
The only thing that comes to mind is the all-aspect IRST and thats it.
