Is it just me, or does the F16C barak II have the wrong flight model? it seems it shares the flight model with the F16D in the same tech tree. Has gaijin said some words on when they might give it the correct flight model? Or maybe they might’ve given it the wrong flight model by mistake.
I’m not too certain on its performance, or where it should be. But it seems like it might be just a C variant without the engine upgrade of the American block 50.
That would be quite unfortunate if that’s the case. The best way to check this is if you check Gzabis data mines on the flight model characteristics and compare the two.
do you have a link to the data mine? but as far as my casual testing goes, they have the same turn rate and climb rate etc.

Probably because of this, in game the amercan have GE-129, while israeli GE-110.
Currently we have the F-16C Block 40 Barack II, meanwhile the F-16C Block 30 Barack (I) has a better engine and kinematic performance. Gaijin just decided to add the worse option, same with the F-16D Block 40 Barack II over the F-16D Block 30 Barack (I).
but that still doesn’t really explain why it’s the same weight as the F16D, surely a single seater would be quite a bit lighter than the twin seater F16D. But it has identical ingame climb rate, turn time etc. I’m almost 100% certain it has a copy paste FM. If they’d just cut away a tiny bit of drag, and made it X amount lighter i’d be satisfied. But to just copy a completely different FM is just lazy
Another thing that seems off, is the engine itself. The GE-100 made around 125kN thrust and the GE-129 around 131 kN thrust. Currently in game the GE-129 peaks at 157kN and the GE-120 at 142kN, a much larger difference than the 5kN static thrust difference. The difference should be at most 7-9kN in thrust between the two engines, not 15kN.
to me it seems that gaijin has entirely been lazy on the modeling of these F-16’s. Both the F-16’s share the same air inlet and shouldn’t differ by that large an amount. It was a minor upgrade not a massive one like it is in the game. in all actuality the F-16C block 50 and F-16C block 40 should be almost indistinguishable, but somehow the F-16C block 50 in game is around 20-30% faster accelerating.
