Both are skill issues, having to spend two missiles per jet is far from optimal, no matter the nation or missiles in question.
I usually prefer the F-16s radar instead, that’s how mediocre it is.
Even PDV HDN radars feel more reliable than 15s near fake PD—albeit their natural limitations—.

I've explicitly spent some rounds with all the first F-15s throughout the years and I think I know a bit about them :B
It’s a jet which holds strengths with its 9Ms/acceleration-speed/CM count, but it’s extremely mediocre at threat assessment, snowball effect and recovering from being defensive due to its radar being functional enough to scan anything at all. It’s not the extremely undertiered menace this forum always whines about.
