1- That’s not exploiting.
2- Sweden and China are the only tech trees without Su-27SM, F-15C/E, Typhoon, or Rafale climb rate.
3- Su-34 can do this same thing with more bomb load.

I said why, not how. Protecting nothing is not a reason. The pilot needs to save his life only when his life matters.
So me wanting to play the game as intended in an aircraft that is pure A2A is being selfish but being bullied into PvE only which is against the ToS of the game anyway is being selfless?

You gotta change your interception tactic. Intercepting the F-15s in your side of the map is not recommended since they can easily get their munitions off and eject. Focus on intercepting them in their side (spawn camping is the easy way to farm them if you are comfortable flying around enemy airfields). Players doing this typically would have a lower skill level and shouldn’t be too hard to kill them.
This applies to even lower BRs.
Nowadays, I’ve started to hang around the enemy airfields and pick off the zombers right as they spawn in. This is way more effective and spares me the whole chasing crap.
I think you may be over exaggerating the difficulty of killing F-15Es at high altitude. Even R-77s could intercept them without any issues (provided they are flying towards you).

they should just make the air defences on carriers work, and maybe give them cruiser and destroyer escorts
They do have air defence, but sometimes it snipes you instantly and others it doesn’t even fire

maybe add US carrier with CIWS to intercept missiles, and stuff like sea sparrows for jets
i am not familiar with British and Russian carrier air defence, but i do know ESSM, RIM-116, Phalanx are all solid options for onboard air defence for nimitz class they might add with hornet next update
The challenge is making it a balance. They can already be nearly un-attackable. Especially with the absence of most ASMs but they also don’t provide enough defence for anyone trying to land at them and I’ve been killed many times when sat on the deck. Also, all the carriers we have are fairly small. Nimitz is probably too big for the maps at the moment…
HMS Invincible could be the better option with 3x CIWS.
I think she also got SAMs during corporate.
But it still needs to balanced in someway.
sea sparrows only have like 19km max range, effective range probably less.
RIM-116 has 9km range so its well suited for taking down incoming missiles or really close aircraft.
CIWS has even shorter range as you know
i dont really see why the size is that much of a concern though, its not like they are going down rivers
looking at it again, apparently they used to have only RIM-7 and CIWS, but the one that got the RIM-116 only had the RIM-116 until others got refitted with them. so a RIM-116 only carrier wouldnt be very unbalanced since they only have 9km max range

itll still probably fit a supercarrier though.
they could also add Midway with 2 RIM-7 launchers and 2 CIWS if size is really that much of a concern
Yeah… we’ll ahve to wait and see. Current AI SPAA including SAMs are not affected by chaff (like those found around the AF) and i would prefer if Carriers dont become death zones until such time we actually have the correct weapons to fight them like that. Also maps are too small.
AI in general needs an overhaul, including the bahaviour of the carrier
yeah, improvements on that as well as more advanced carriers at top tier would really be nice.
would pair really well with hornets so hopefully some improvement in that area comes
