I believe the F/A-18C Early has a broken BR.
At 12.7 it constantly gets uptiered to 13.3–13.7 where it faces FOX-3 carriers.
In those matches it feels practically unplayable.
Either its battle rating should be lowered (which seems more reasonable to me) or there should be some form of separation between FOX-3 carriers and non-FOX-3 aircraft.
its br cant be lowered since its vastly superior to anything 12.3 and below.
The solution is increasing the br of the 13.3 flankers

can’t forget the F-18A at 12.3 (which is also the best at its br)
this is an issue of compression, nothing else
and bringing something down in br to “fix” compression only results in more compression
I don’t think that flankers will be moved to the 13.7 in the near future and its still cannot solve the problem of the game on not only for F/A-18C but for all the 12.7 jets, playing safely, enemy team ended or your team ended before your reach the battlefield, playing aggressive means got r-77/pl-12/aim120 on face without comparable carrying comparable weapons. Im currently talking about F/A-18 cause I paid money for 3 of them and cannot play them cause is pain to play on them. Really, im not super cool on them(byt stats air k/d around 1.5 included battles in grb) in arb its not give me enjoy cause the efforts I need to do to got kill much higher than all the others jets in the battle.
Thats why you dont just up and buy premiums willy nilly.
Do some research on the state of that br to justify spending money. After all youll be playing that single plane for a while so its literally the least you couldve done, especially in your case since you bought THREE OF THEM
SU30MK2 and MKK have been terrorizing 12.3 - 13.3 ever since they got added, choosing to voluntarily buy THREE premium in that black hole isnt a good idea.
And suggesting a plane to do down in br to ruin another br range just because you bought it isnt right too

I had 361 matches with it with a 43% win rate and died 249 times! being able to kill only 153 air targets which is abysmal and only 64 ground targets… and been able to grind only 2.4M SL which is barely anything for 80 bucks. just do yourself a favor and avoid buying this thing in it’s current BR. save yourself a lot of money and headache.
While I wont pretend matchmaker isnt abysmall due to premium Su-30s hitting the sales, 18C early is still competent jet and going negative with it is just a waste. Still collecting data on new sparrows, but all my games with it since Sky Odyssey released:

the 12.3 and 12.7 hornets are overpowered for their BRs, they should go up to 12.7 and 13.0 (12.7 hornets should get AIM-9M too)
Just because the SU-30MKK/AMV are disgracefully overpowered and should be 14.0 doesnt mean everything below should move down.

I exclusively fly hornet at 8km+ alt.
All my games since march 22nd when I started flying hornet again hiatus, ie. games i played AFTER introduction of premium Su30s.
Little over all of my games with Hornet ever since I got it, so i played more games post premium Su30s than before their introduction.
How am I disinforming people about its current status?

quite literally, just notch. Im not saying Hornet can solo carry uptiers to ARH BRs, the powergap between ARH carriers and SARH carriers is massive and Hornet will always fight at disadvantage. We need decompression yesterday, but plane itself for its own BR is probably one of the, if not THE best 12.7 in game currently.

Just having 10k hours in steam doesnt mean much, looking your statcard your only experience at toptier is from the f18 and the netz, also steam inflates a lot the numbers, as it count all the time that the game is lanched not just when youre playing
just playing around with Su30 you can get 4 kill almost an ace in the first minute of the match (doing BVR) anything with aim7s is incapable of doing that
skill issue quite literally. I dont leave low alt but you very easily can, especially with how the AIM-7P is basically an AMRAAM you need to keep lock with.
