I feel its issue with compression. Yes logically objectively better version of the same aircraft, even if its better only by slight margin, should be higher.
But currently, as things are set up, 18C early isnt 13.0 material.
They do in occasions … A-10 crap fights no-flare planes with 9L. There they can… When they should they don’t.You can say that’s a Strike fighter… But
You mean better than MLD with IOG R24s? Meh… not so, still you can easily flare 9Ls in game. More or less they are at they same level.
The version i’m talking about , with 7F and 9L and CAA (think it as MTI) could be a 12.0 as well. I’m not saying update the current F-4E , just a new - folded F-4E with the latest improvements it got . There was a version called SRA (Southeastern Regional Agreement) , those planes had the updated Navigation & Weapons Delivery System (NWDS) , very similar to 4th gen fighters … i think that was the version with CAA. Also single piece windshiels , so it was distinguished externally! They have options… That’s my point. Greece had some of those as well!
That’s why i talked about 9M. They can give both and call them 13.0.
Yes? IOG isn’t some magical i win button. The MiG-23’s radar being trash more than makes up for IOG being present + you having double the radar missiles on F-4.

R-77-1 Is slightly better than aim120 in BVR and significantly better at WVR, its just pure launch platform difference, but yes, it is a better missle afaik, what are you on

The r77-1 has equal or more thrust and is considerably more maneuverable as you may know, and let’s not forget the su30sm somehow gets to carry 12 of them

Yet the R-77-1 has more drag than the AIM 120Bs, and are significantly less manoeuvrable than AIM 120s in closer range. We also have to talk about the planes that get them: with the Su 30 having a worse radar compared to the F-15E, and not being able to go as fast as the F-15E in the sky.
I am honestly thinking of not playing top tier anyways. I’m just going to be hanging out in customs, because at least there it’s more chill. Just screwing around with friends and doing funny things like racing around Advance to the Rhine in Doom Turtles while firing at each others tracks.

OK, now its my turn to ask if you play the game.
Although i haven’t played ARB i HAVE played GRB, and i can say for sure that the r77-1 definitely 100% has much more turn capability than the aim120, and you can fire it offbore, and you ignored how it can carry 12 r77-1
f15 has a worse radar afaik
Basically the only thing holding it back, su30 is a veritable shitboat but you can’t ignore how it has 12 missiles meanwhile the F15E has what, 8 or 10 meanwhile the EFT only has 6. IMO the EFT’s a better a2a fighter overall though.

What my friends and I used to do was go into Simulator on Vietnam night map, and we would try to fight each other while two of our guys (one on each team) would fire at us in their SPAAs. Nobody knew what was going on.

Maybe I don’t know the game as I thought. I usually feast on Su-30s, while I get spammed by F-15Es in the stratosphere. Just my own bias, but if your weird sites say otherwise, Coolio.

I will try playing the EFT tmr and see how it really is in the current meta

Cool, you use the interwebs and pull stats from some website. I used to do the same with baseball cards. Do people even still collect baseball cards anymore?
Also, obviously we have different playstyles. I prefer flanking and shooting from the side within 10km, which Su-30s tend to be easy targets. Can’t really flank someone who is orbiting the bloody moon.

I flank around and go about 5500m alt, just below contrail range and get within 18km or so and launch at f15E’s. Not too difficult since they can’t seem to figure out how to notch
