but the FCU is a better plane… So move that up aswell?

Notable NOT large CMs
Yes. x2 Python + x2 AIM-9P-4 at 11.3 on an F-5E is a bit much. Especially when it faces 10.3 - 10.7
We couldn’t jettison ANYTHING just a year ago.
The ability to jettison pylons isn’t anything extraordinary.
Not sure why you’re spamming a fact I stated myself…
It is, no software has this as a feature currently.
Somebody is absolutely cooking in the F4C somewhere and everyone else struggling.
Defyn is making a video or something on it rn I swear
Ngl, my first flight with it after the br change was 5 kills. Sorry
I agree that the f-4 should be given countermeasures but the f105 doesn’t get the ability to use flares are it used nonstandard caliber chaff pods
pathetic… I’ve wing ripped the f4c due to max speed before (pretty sure I managed to hit mach 1.5 before it started to give warnings
105 needs a BR change.
You are at a disadvantage against pretty much everything you face. MiG-21SMT is one BR increment above it, and yet has R-60s, optional countermeasures, AND is faster. A-7D, though slower, has 9Js AND countermeasures.
Hell, it suffers against planes in full downtiers!
Yes, I get the 105 has a large bombload. But I’m struggling to beat A-5s to bases, and more often than not I die before I can get there with no way to defend myself. Something needs to change. (No, not add ahistorical countermeasures)
When does it hit 10…7 I am in it now have all A2A missles and mine says 10.0 BR soooooooooo???
you replied to an ancient thread wondering why the information is out of date, mods dont affect br btw
F-4C issue could be slightly remedied by giving all non-PD phantoms the capability to program simulated doppler inputs and basically just fire the missiles off like all-aspect heat-seekers. You get all aspect AIM-7Ds at 10.3. Negative? They’re AIM-7Ds.
We already have this feature partially implemented in the game with the CW seekers working mostly as intended. Just allow use to essentially swap to a different radar mode, and let us just let them rip.
Even in the Earliest F-4s they recognized ground clutter was an issue and sought to rectify it. Sadly bad storage conditions seemed to have made the sparrows bad.
So all F-4s should get basically a really hokey version of pulse-doppler functionality by using the the continuous wave seeker and telling it where to look before hand.
