If you had to choose between these planes, you wouldn’t choose the Gripen to play at 13.7.
Between the Gripen SA, the Finnish F-18C, and the Australian F-18A+, would you prefer the F-18s?

Why wouldn’t I prefer a 10 arh plane with 600 BOL chaff over a gripen? Is this a question for children? If flight model is so important I may as well say F-16ADFs are clearly stronger than MKKs then, since Su-30s are such slow turning boats?

Even without the HMD/BOL I’d still fly a 10 aim-120 hornet over a 4 derby gripen. Again, you just seem unable to comprehend that the quantity of missiles is a very important factor that allowed planes like Su-27SM, F-15C GE and Su-30SM2 to dominate their BRs despite their mediocre flight performance.

Sure, Su-27SM has nowhere near the flight model of a gripen. It’s still gonna rinse that gripen 20 times under with its 12 missiles. Same can be applied to the hornet. Just because it’s dogshit at 14.0 doesn’t mean its the same story at 13.7. What exactly are you going to do as I ripple away my 10 aim-120s other than being stuck in the defensive?

First of all, if a Gripen is outside the nose-on aspect of those F-18s, within a range of up to 19 km, you have 10 AMRAAMs, but you don’t have an HMD to help you.

Yeah, it’s not a fun fight for the gripen either way since it will be forced defensive most of the time which is objectively not good and can massively lower chances of winning
