Why is the F-16C 13.7 still??? Yes I know it gets more flares than some of the other f16s, but now compare it to the weapons it gets. The F-16C (Block 50) only has 6x aim120a’s, keep in mind, AIM-120AS. Now compare that to the F-16I, which just now got moved to 13.7 too, but gets Aim-120C-5s. Not only can the F-16I carry better missiles, but so can the F-16am (aim-120b). Also, you can compare it to the earlier F-16A (MLU, ADF) which get the same missiles, but just no hms and a slightly worse radar. Another thing, compare this too the premium su30s, which literally have 6x r77s (6x pl12s which are better for the chinese one) at a lower battle rating. And, these su30s even have 4x r73s that can be taken with the 6x r77s/pl12s as the cherry on top. This same thing goes for the gripens somewhat, as most variants (The C) only gets 4x aim120as, or well, 4x aim120bs if its the thai one. A solution to this is either make the japanese(thai), french, and american f-16cs (or f16ams) 13.3, along side the MLUS and ADFS. (probably not the netz for israel) 13.3, or make the premium su30s 13.7. Do they suffer a lot right now, no, would it be a better br placement compared to these premium su30s, yes.
