Never stopped gaijin before, besides, J-15T is an aircraft from the same year (2025)
Well the thing with the J-15T is that it’s based on an existing design, and by its nature as a 4th gen many of its features are more easily observable like the number of countermeasures
While I have faith in the chinese community to provide some information, I am also not expecting it to come in nearly as well of a researched state as a western stealth jet.
Informations shortfalls are to be expected with 5th gens for obvious reasons and the standards for modelling will have to change to allow for more observed sources than physical documents.
However the PLAAF is actually quite vocal with it’s stealth doctrines, it just requires fluency in mandarin to interact with since 90% of their research documents from military universities and the likes do not make it onto the english internet, which is why I said I believe the chinese community will be of major assistance in the addition of their 5th gens
So we have no way to check if what they are saying is true or not. They have already damaged bug reporting for everyone else with their AI PL-12A report
learn mandarin and use an AI checker, idk what to tell you
If you expect bug reporting for eastern 5th gens to be anything like it will be for, say an F-35 then you’re in for a shock when some stuff passes while other stuff gets randomly denied.
End of the day gaijin will still pick and choose what it wants, and this is the ultimate reason why adding the J-35 isn’t unrealistic, since the devs will just do whatever they feel if they deem it a good addition
The F-35 in WT won’t even be 50% accurate to how it is in real life either. That’s just the way of trying to model new aircraft like this.
Chinese players are not to be trusted, they’re a face culture, completely different to your concept of shame and honor.
How is it US hype when Israel is getting theirs too?
The F35 is not a direct competitor with the Su57 and J-20.
Lol
He’s not wrong, it will have by far the worst performance of any 5th gen while carrying equal or worse weapons overall.
It’s radar will also not be particularly impressive, it’s going to be by far the worst 5th gen in game.
well if they give it some newer block 4 stuff, it would be the best ranged 5th gen
maybe equal to or slightly better than Su-57 main array, and will have probably the best multipurpose functionality as a strike fighter AESA
Might be the worst dogfighter besides the J-20, but it will probably be the best next to the Growler for EW and SEAD.
Not one of those are exclusive to the F-35 over the F-22.
SEAD makes sense, but why the best next to Growler for EW?
Aim-424 was just seen for the first time 2 months ago, it’s not coming any time soon.
AIM-260 as well, it will probably surpass PL-15 due to it’s body and fins, but PL-16 is rumored to be already in service and superior to it, utilizing a variable thrust rocket engine
Su-57 has the side arrays of byelka providing guidance to the sides and back, the worst one will be F-20 because it has 120° like the Pobit, J-20 has the largest and most powerful array.
I don’t really know what funcionality F-35 will have that the others except the F-22 won’t have.
J-20 has a delta canard design with absurd amounts of lift, with WS-15 it will have a higher ttw than the F-22 and the best in the game if added, i don’t know where this Idea that it has bad performance comes from, it routinely beats all flankers and J-10 in exercises.
EW is also not in game and given that we know next to nothing about Chinese EW, saying that it’s better seems like pure conjecture.
maybe he means individual defense. the F-35 also could use Britecloud decoys as well as its own towed decoys, and any decoy/jammer is going to be even more effective due to the low RCS
yeah there is like 0 info on PL-16 development status. cant just say its operational
a2g and air to sea modes, MADL, and possibly jam modes
you could say the same for the F-22’s more conventional design with an absurd amount of lift
assuming F119 is actually only 35000lb thrust, and assuming WS-15 actually hits 180kN in operational version. in fact, they just said a next gen engine should be between 15 and 18 tons of thrust so it could just as easily be worse than F119
Does it have this in service btw?
unclear, but judging from the statements quoted in this
According to NAVAIR, research to integrate BriteCloud 218 into the F-35 began at the JCC in 2022. “Stammer drove the rapid effort to identify, test and field the system,” it said. “His team took it from initial requirement to the fleet in less than two years."
its either hit IOC or is close to it.
in march 2026 they also awarded a contract for thousands of Britecloud so take that as you will
Sounds like it’s probably been tested but not yet in service. Still enough for in-game purposes though.
US adopting britecloud could be absolutely huge considering it does have technical compatibility with all ALE-47. especially with the EX, it could take 180 of them. would need BOL to cover flares and regular chaff though
