AIM-174, AIM-260, and IRST pod together

i still wonder if gaijin will ever be able to get the IRST pid to work

they almost added the irst a few updates ago but it never made it to the live server

i know

that is what i was referencing

since the AIM-174B uses a scaled up AIM-120C-7 antenna, it should have a beamwidth of roughly 7-8 degrees which would be a large improvement. its possible that AIM-120C-7 has an even lower beamwidth than the early AIM-120’s which the 15 degree figure comes from so it could be even better than 7-8 degrees for the AIM-174

Any reason why the super bug can only carry so few GBU-53?

Because that’s what the bomb racks can support

Is there no option to use the quadruple mount?

Only Air Force jets use the quad racks at the moment. It’s not qualified for carrier ops etc.

That’s disappointing, 2 AARGM-ER and 16 GBU-53 would be a fantastic CAS loadout

US top tier feels strange in general regarding load out
At least has a warthunder player

The av8b can carry the same ammount of agm65g has the f15e and f111 combined

Looks like a minimum of 2, but potentially 4 based on the graphic.

Most likely 6 for SH, cuz it looks smaller than AARGM-ER.

I swear to God china will drop the pl21 the day the aim260 goes fully operational and then the us navy will crap out the aim 420 fister which will just be an air to air minuteman 3 somehow strapped to a super hornet.

and a few years later we will have the PL-69 going up against the Aim-1337

PL-16 is reportedly already in service and has been for a while.
