F-15A pros: great speed, good energy retention, 9M are solid, good CM count, ton of 20mm ammo, solid radar
F-15A cons: 9M arent as manueverable as other IR missiles, AIM-7M are pretty lackluster
Su-33/27 pros: great missile load, R27ER clears, R73 is better at close shots, HMS, R27ET, IRST
Su-33/27 cons: energy retention not great, kind of bricks, bad RWR (Su-27), bad CM count (Su-33), meh radar
The 27SM loses to the 15C in BVR, but wins in BFM,
The F-15E and Su-30SM… are pretty even. The F-15E is faster so it’s better at BVR, but the radar and R-77-1s hold up the 30SM quite a bit. And they’re both pretty bad at BFM, the 30SM is muchhhhh better at turning but the F-15E is muchhhhh better at energy traps.
I’m ignoring stuff like the 15J and J-11s because I’m lazy.
It depends. I think it rates a bit better than the 27SM, but the J-11B should be pretty even with it at rating.
At low speeds, I think the SM is better.
Su-27 has better missiles, and even if the F-15A can detect it earlier, the R-27ER is faster than any Sparrow, also AIM-7M loses the track 50% of the time
96 reinforced countermeasures aren’t that bad, and cuz they’re reinforced, it makes it very playable.
ofc Eagle has 240 normal countermesures and can just spam them, not like Flankers, but it stills being enough CMs to fool all incoming missiles
