prove it then, lol.
prove i have a skill issue by facing a Fakour-90 at 20km in something that doesn’t turn that well.
it’s like saying u have a skill issue cuz u can’t notch an AIM-120 in a Tornado at 10km.

well that picture if you look the original, and time stamps on those 3 kills, you can just think what was the range where those shots were made…
And yes, TIme to time I fly mig 29 during events, using 4x r77 and 2 x ET’s just to hunt iriafs returning to base.
u basically didn’t prove anything, that hit could have been splash damage, especially knowing the explosive mass and proxy fuze of the Fakour-90. show a video to actually prove ur point.
if u want to defend ur point and be right, i recommend u to prove it ingame or give actual data of what u’re saying, not just say it using the popular opinion.
Fakours are an awareness check, that’s it
Gimmick missile to snipe people not paying attention
Even if that would have been splash it is still +50Km killshot on fakour.
And there’s your “splash” damage
finally a real proof! i can believe this.
in that case those were AFK targets, not being able of notching a missile that loses the track without chaffing and at that distance is pretty meh, u got really lucky with that shots. congrats for that!
You either only play with premium players or you’re just lying and trying to cover for your skill issue with anecdotal evidence.
You also haven’t provided proof for you point of view idk why you’re making a big deal about it
i have given proofs of the performance of both missiles and how one is better than the other, and i have proven how the Fakour-90 is better at close range for the maneuverability and isntant boost. something u probably didn’t read.
No you haven’t not a single photo, video, and source to back what you have said
I will say that f-90 does have good performance for 10-20 miles range than the aim54 but I pretty sure everyone knows that
my guy, it has 20gs of tolerance, what manouverability
it’s worse than an AIM-120C at closer ranges

Define “works out for you”. Whats the metric? How many air kills per missiles fired?
for him it’s probably like
1 kill
every 8 missiles
10000m + 0/20º angle + Mach +1.34 + 6 missiles = 1 to 3 kills, more if u get lucky.
cool joke, now shut up.
I mean, statistically that’s what it is for you
one kill
for all your missiles
or you die
cool joke, now shut up.
the only person who laughs of that is u, no offense btw.
I think he might of been right about what he said on he replied to that guys
a 50km shot with those launch parametres will connect only if the target is coming straight at you
If the target keeps doing a constant whopping 1G turn, the missile will run out of energy completly and will never connect
You can test it yourself, just punch in the same parametres into the statshark missile FM calculator and you will arrive at the same result
once the missile descends into thicker air it starts deaccelerating rapidly and will become subsonic.
thats not accounting for multipath issues (since the angle during the terminal phase isnt that steep) and chaffing.
whatever hit youve landed at that range, it was luck, not a reliable launch parameter.
You are experiencing the same placebo effect you did back with the whole R-60+IRST thing.
