Literally all your enemy needs to do is turn around and the HDN seeker stops working.
Stop ragebaiting
Nah I don’t the r77 in close range is hard to notch without giving up you energy or 6 o’clock not to mention especially when they hard lock well that’s most missiles to if the radar isn’t limited hdn the only planes I see having a easier time notching them is planes with a good rcs with good cm
Huh? Everyone i know playing at 13.0 hates f14 iriaf. Its a fact because fakours are op.
depending the aircraft u can or not detect a missile coming from above, and multipathers don’t care about that cuz they believe multipathing is a guaranteed safe zone.
That’s just their skill issue then. The same players would die to an Aim-54.
like basically any other 13.7 plane?
F-14A players still farm plenty of kills with the AIM-54A due to players with skill issue that believe no missile can get them.
that’s why F-14A/B is still meta if played correctly, especially the F-14A in a downtier.
Killing exclusively noobs ain’t exactly meta.
any player that isn’t u would fly straight while multipathing no matter if there’s a Phoenix incoming.
cuz if that was the case, all the kills i have done in the Su-30s should have never happened.
Most of them yeah either way in a 13.7 match you can still perform good with them
All you need to do is use a lil bit of logical reasoning and determine oh, a radar missile was launched at me very early into the match, it’s probably an Aim-54 and F90.
what distance are we talking about, mate.
i haven’t seen a single F-14 player launching Phoenixes and Fakours at 100km, nor even 50/30km.
that’s most common range a aim54/f90 are launch at is 40-20 miles out
at 13.0 u have time to notch it, most of them launch them at 20km or less, especially the Fakour-90.
Fakour has insane acceleration, and that extra 3G make the difference.
the booster in the AIM-54A lasts 30secs, the one in the Fakour-90 lasts 5secs.
raw acceleration of AIM-54A is 32,35m/s², raw acceleration of Fakour-90 is 131,65m/s².
AIM-54A doesn’t have a sustainer, Fakour-90 has one and it lasts 21secs.
it’s clearly superior in any case, and the quick burning time means it’s better for close-range (20/10km).
Nope. Best way to use fakours is certainly over 30km, and use their speed on advantage.
Less than 20km even ray charles can evade em
Imagine that IRIAF’s are first to launch missiles on every game, and you try to say MOST use em on 20km or less :D
u’re stupid if u believe ur 370cm long-range missile will hit a target at +50km in 2026…
oh and don’t make me talk about the thrust the Fakour-90 has, which is almost 8 times more than the thrust in the AIM-54A.
Sry , but only stupid in here is you.
Trying to say phoenix or fakour is best used in 20km or less.
Yes, Fakour is fastest on bvr , but it got same issue as Phoenix on close range, and that is lack of agility.

You got some serious skill issues if you get owned by fakour on close range combat.
