R77 is one of worst arhs. it got enormous drag compared to 120’s example.
Soviet premium SU counts more quantity instead quality.
And Chinese SU , there is a reason why you see them using PL12’s over 77’s more in games

R-77 has the second best pull out of all Fox-3s in the game
And perfectly acceptable performance up to 10-12km
Which makes it better than PL-12

Definitely isn’t the worst arh missile in the game aim54 may have range but it’s slow acceleration and most usual top speed of mach 3.8 and 17g and is easier to notch draws it back the r77 is harder to notch especially with 50g and at closer ranges like 6-20 miles it’s definitely hard to notch it’s literally like a mica a short to medium range missile
YEah, it got nice pull on paper true.
But still it got biggest drag of any fox3’s making them slow especially on close range shots.
If r77’s drag value wouldnt be skyhi that 50g pull could agtually mean something.
And on BVR that drag reduces effective range of those things like hell.
Sure we can look how 95% people just smacks em on statshark and using only straight line performance, where those doesnt seem to lose so much , but in reality even slight notching angle on opponent reduces those like no other.

Its one of the easiest fox 3 to evade when u know how. Even with a bad RWR i can notch them.
A 120 fired at mach 1.6 for eg- no chance without a good RWR

Depends what you compare.
It sucks on close range, but if you use it completely on bvr on 25+km shots, it is a lot better vs R77 or basic 120B in that range.
But nope, not a dop dog missile.
BVR is not that relevant anymore
