A lot of people can just notch the missile at those ranges so I rarely launch that far away unless I’m trying to pressure someone.
How do you get kills when you’re on the backfoot for half the match ? With the current IRIAF spam, the Mig21Bison has to wait until every F14 vomited all their missile before trying to get agressive. And the match is already over by that point.
Even worse with the FGR2. Poor thing has Skyflashes at 12.0. They can’t hit anything past 8km.
News flash : positioning is the most important skill in the game. By denying positions, the F14 is extremely oppressive, especially to 11.7-12.0 planes.
Also, you don’t have to bring a full Aim54 loadout, you know ? 3 Aim7 + 3 Aim54 is enough to push every player on the defensive at low altitude with the 54 while the 7F do the killing. F14 can bring 8 missiles, remember ?
F-14A and F-14B are balanced.
Phoenix missiles are the worst ARHs in the game currently, easily dodged and chaffed.
You forgot that it is a fourth generation plane shooting at second and third generation planes without active missiles and it has 6 active missiles that suppress all the planes in the game to fly low and can shoot and defend while the other planes can only shoot or defend
If the game is easy for you and your teammates F14, You don’t have to complain

Where was he complaining?? The phoenix is easier to dodge than almost every single missile at that tier. That is an objective fact. If you want the F-14 to go up than the A should get AIM-9Ls and the B should get AIM-9Ms.

I’ll tell you easily, little boy, the Aim54 is an ACTIVE missile. Is it a Fox 3? Can you get it in your head? THE F14 has 6 of those missiles and they are 17g. They can be fired at more than 50 kilometers. Is there another plane in the game that can do that? No, there is only the F14 that does that.
The rest of the planes can never fly high. Because they have to fight against 1 single F14 that can fire 6 missiles simultaneously while defending.
Have you played any nation other than the United States? See if that seems fair to you?
Play with planes like the mig 23 or 11.3 planes and see if it seems fair to you, obviously you are not going to complain about a plane that is played in easy mode.

If the plane was balanced they wouldn’t do this and many other posts complaining about that plane the day they put it in ruined the game if the plane isn’t broken it’s because most American players who play f14 don’t even do it. The F-14A is a gen 3.5 aircraft using the same weapons as F-4J unless the intentionally bring a heavier worse loadout with AIM-54s since they’re worse than AIM-7Fs for taking out fighters.
F-4J, F-4EJ Kai, F-4FG, Mirage 2000, Tornado ADV, and JA-37C all keep planes low far more effectively than the F-14A.
The AIM-54 is defeated the same way SARHs are, you just have one more radar to defeat.
AIM-54 is an AIM-7D with an integral radar.
F-14A is so good that I have a 4:1 KDR in my F-5E FCU against their teams…
Kurnass 2000 against F-14As and F-14Bs so far:
F-14As are a threat that’s no different to the aircraft mentioned previously.
Inb4 you claim all aircraft in War Thunder’s 11.3 - 12.3 area are F-14s.

There are literally people who played rank 3 maximum, they took out the F14 and are playing at rank 7, killing like it was nothing, if the plane is what a 10-year-old child can use

Moving the goalposts doesn’t change the fact that F-14s have never been a major threat since introduction so long as you applied basic knowledge of defeating radar missiles in a manner that gains you positional advantage.
