But you are so biased, that you can’t even realise how broken F-14 is in the game, at it’s BR placement.
Assumption. I know the F-14 is preeetty unbalanced at its BR, but bumping it up to 13.7 is just crazy talk.
Dont even think about bringing out the “F-14 fanboy” argument either, I havent even played the game with phoenixes besides one match before seek and destroy.

While I did mention placing F-14 at 13.7 BR, it was in context of all the improvements people wanted on them.
If you read posts above, you will see that some people wanted AIM-9Ls, improved RWR, AN/ALR-23 IRSTS, Fuel Totalizer, AoA indexer, auxiliary wing sweep programs and more.
And my reply was in the spirit of “if you want all the improvements, then be ready for BR increase”.
Lemme pose a similar question. Is the F-4J superior in anything meaningful over the F-16ADF?

To use either of those, MiG-21 has to actually get close to F-14, which rarely happens.
And even then, F-14 can just turn around, and outrun the MiG-21.
Even if the MiG-21bis has nothing better than the F-14 why does that matter? Its an entire BR lower than the F-14A.
So, close range fighter cant be close range? Must be superior/on level in BVR?
That’s 0.7 BR difference, actually.
The MiG-21bis is 11.3 and the F-14A is 12.3.

You’re describing a compression issue not an F-14 issue. Its the same with the F-4J having to face the Gripen A, literally nothing the F-4J can do. That’s compression.
